So far so good. The blend has a lovely color, good value for money, low noise level. It blends very well and speed is adjustable. It’s kit very heavy, just sturdy.

This review relates to a Salter EK4248GUNMETAL hand blender from Homeofbrands as the seller. Although the hand blender has had very little use since I purchased it, when I came to use it recently it did not work. Pressing the ON button, the blender failed to start. I have checked the 3 amp fuse inside the mains plug of the blender with a digital meter and the fuse is OK. Shortly after I purchased the Salter blender, I registered the product with Salter for their extended warranty. Salter's confirmation email stated : "The warranty entitles you to receive an initial 12-month warranty, which is retained by the retailer the item was purchased from. Under this agreement; providing you show proof of purchase (receipt), you can return your item to the retailer to obtain a full refund or a replacement" Although there are references to returning the item within 30 days of purchase on the Amazon, I have been unable to find any information on the seller's storefront regarding returning a faulty product under warranty. I guess I will have to call the Seller's Customer Service line for help.

Should have replaced my old Braun Multiquick as that clears the food debris whereas, with the Salter bits get stuck in the side vents. It's noisy too, otherwise perfectly good, does what it says blends.
