Dawn Enterprises Rear Bumper Protector Compatible with Volkswagen Atlas 2018-2025

Very pleased with this bumper top cover. The quality is excellent and installation was very easy and adheres very well. The thickness is impressive and comes with plenty of 3M tape for a very strong hold. The over the edge lip is great for added protection. Once centered it laid down perfect with no wrinkles or gaps. Judging from the quality I think it is made to last. Very pleased with this and highly recommend.

This product was about half the price of what the dealership wanted, and I think it looks better than the cheap looking chrome one VW offers. I understand that this was a generic product used on various vehicles, but in the end, it looks FACTORY. Some reviews mentioned there was a gap on the lip and it didn't fit right...but I didn't have that problem because I watched a YouTube video by "MAC'S DIY" called "2018 VW Atlas - How to install rear bumper protector" and it helped me achieve a perfect installation. Yeah, you can slap it on and be done with it in 2 minutes or you can take your time and spend the 10-15 minutes to make it look right. My vehicle is a 2019 VW Atlas, but they're all the same, unless you have a CrossSport which is the smaller vehicle. A few tips: Clean your bumper with rubbing alcohol and dry it before applying this protector. Razor blade the paper of the pre-installed 3M tape underneath so that you can press down a section at a time. Start at the middle and press down and forward making sure that lip is not leaving a gap. Watch that YouTube video, it explains everything you need to do!

Fits perfectly. Nice quality and looks good. Hopefully the backing tape will withstand a Maine winter.

I love this! Our previous car had something similar built in as part of the car and I didn't realize how important it was. Fast forward a few years and we have a 2013 Ford Explorer with no built-in guard. Paint was damaged as someone lightly ran into me at a stop sign. He paid to get the back end repainted and it looked great. Less than 1 week later, a friend and I were unloading a dresser we had picked up and managed to tilt it "just so" and scrape the new paint. Thus began my search for one of these. I looked at a number of options and chose this one. I'm glad I did! There are clear directions for application and the adhesive is very strong. I would recommend having two people do the application. The protector is so long and needs to be positioned exactly right so having one person on each end makes it easiest. The very middle has a little arrow so that helps you know exactly where to line it up then work your way out toward the sides of the car. It doesn't interfere with the back tailgate and looks nice enough that it compliments the car. So far there is no sign of this coming off but if it were to a couple of years from now I'd buy this again for sure!

Easy to install and so far hasn't had any issues. It installs similar to windows rain vents with the 3M tape on the back. Just pull some off and line up and then pull the rest off pushing down.

I have a 2019 VW Atlas and it just had a painted bumper. I bought it used and there were some scratches from the prior owner. This covered that well and I preferred the black rubber look to the silver one. It was easy to stick on. I’ve had it for about 3 months and it’s been through the car wash a number of times and no sign of wear yet. Pleased with this purchase.

I was very happy when I got this for my 2021.5 Volkswagen atlas. Fits very well. Didn’t take a lot of fuss to put on. I really took the time and cleaned the bumper to make sure it was really good so that way it adhered to the bumper. I live in a very hot part of the United States where I can get up to 115° in the summer and I wanted to make sure that it had a good clean surface to adhere to. I would also recommend adding some additional tape along the bottom edge that way it gives a little bit more Adhesion so that way it doesn’t lift up. But other than that it’s a very well-made very clean factory looking bumper protector.

2019 VW Atlas. VW should have had a rubber guard along the top of the bumper -- basic design flaw. It's a pretty deep surface and easily scratched if you're loading and unloading stuff, which of course is why you buy a car like this with such cavernous cargo room. This rubber guard doesn't protect the full bumper top side-to-side: maybe 3 inches open on either side. But it does have a "factory" look to it, and it does protect the leading edge of the bumper, as well as the majority of the bumper's surface area. It was easy to use and install, and looks good.
