This was my second pair of BernieMevs, as close as I could find to the style of my older pair- which with a little added arch -are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I've worn holes into them! I ordered the same size as the old ones - EU 6 - I am normally a 5 -5.5 in European cut shoes but since my old Bernies were a 6, I figured they'd be fine. I've worn the new pair about 3 times, they are overall a little looser (wider) than my last pair but the real issue is how they squash my toes down- I figured they'd stretch after a couple of hours - but after a couple hours I feel like my toes have been flattened by a hammer! The depth of the toe box is the issue - not the length of the shoe. I am afraid they are going to do real damage to the nail bed. So, based on others comments re- inconsistency of size - I now know better and will replace these by shopping in person.

I bought these for comfortableness. Since they expand they fit kind of loose, since my feet are narrow. I like them but then I don't because I think they make me feel older :'/May look like a granny shoe, but they are comfortable and the wedge gives you some height, which I want.

This is the second pair of Bernie Mev shoes I have purchased. They are extremely comfortable but run a little large for me. I usually wear a 5 - 5 1/2. I wear thick socks with these and that fixes my problem. It is worth it for the comfort. I would like to see them in a dark brown and a dark navy blue. I will be trying one of the open toe styles for summer.
