So simple to install. Took a few minutes and we could shut our garage with the remote and not having to hold the button on the wall down to override the safety features anymore to shut it. We regret not purchasing and installing sooner. Saved a service fee for a tech. It really is DIY.

They’re easy to install

I have a 25-30 year old genie garage door opener that I fixed with this. I had to split the wires from the sender (red side) and swap the wires to the inputs so that instead of it going ++ and - - into either terminal, I took wires from each terminal and did +- into one, and +- into the other. This is unique because my old unit runs 2 sets of wires (4 total) instead of just one set (2 wires).To compare, 6 months ago I installed a newer belt drive genie onto the other side of the garage, and the components seem to be the exact same on the outside. Same molding, same words on them. Took a picture of the green to post to the review.

Replacements for an old Champion Garage door opener. Super fix.

Sensor worked perfectly to replace my faulty receiver sensor. Did NOT include brackets but was an easy swap. 10 min and I was sitting on my couch with my feet up.

Replaced 20 year old sensors and both identical sets of these are working fine with my Overhead Door Python 2 garage door openers.

He did not work on genie garage door openers. Geni factory says their safety eyes only work on their products.

I have an Overhead Door garage door opener and my garage flooded during Hurricane Helene and the sensors were underwater and the door wouldn’t open after the water receded and they dried out. Purchased these, replaced them in a few minutes and the door opens perfectly. Didn’t even need the mounting brackets - they slid right onto my old ones!
