I love this tape, METRIC ONLY, clear easy to read. Extends and retracts well. Some people complain about the magnet, BUT its strong and works well, anything stronger and you would be sticking to the scaffolding. ONLY downsize is ITS BIG AND HEAVY. Makes a serious stement in your pocket. So if you want a lightweight CARRYALL not the one for you. As a workhorse toolbox site tool brilliant.

Tape is super useful with magnet but shame magnet has come off a few times and spent a while searching for it. The actual blade could definitely be stronger. Seems to bend not far after 1m

I bought this as I do a lot of measuring up on customer sites (refineries, etc.), so having a tape with a magnetic end seemed like a great idea. Read plenty of reviews of this and other ones. Certainly happy with my choice, having used it for the first time yesterday. It is well made, fairly heavy. The magnet sticks to carbon steel pipes a treat, making measuring single-handedly in awkward places so much easier. I didn't realise when I ordered it, but the tape can be extended 3.3m before it bends. I tried it and its true! No more feeding the tape measure carefully up the side of a tank to avoid it falling back onto me anymore. Definitely recommended.

Have this a few weeks now and it's well made, accurate, easy to read and lock/unlock . Happy with my purchase .
