This isn’t always the case but, this time they sent five 100qty packs, instead of one 500 pack, which is totally fine with me. I do like using screws instead of the nails just in case I have to take it apart… it’s super hard to disassemble hangers when they are nailed. I’ve used these for most of my Simpson strong tie hanger installations. I generally use these shorter ones when screwing horizontally into the two by to secure the joist hanger. Then use the longer ones like the 2 1/2 for when I’m screwing into something thicker.

Went through hundreds of these when building my deck. Don't skimp on quality. Buy these for all your hangers and clips etc.

I noticed these are slightly different in appearance (stamp on end looks a bit more washed out and harder to read on the batch I received) than what home depot carries, but that doesn't really matter since it's the exact same. A lot of workers make fun of these for their cost over nails, but boy these are great later when you make a mistake and need to take some straps/hangers down.

Cost over nails is a factor, but I didn't need a whole lot. I needed more than the $10-12 120-pack at Lowes so buying this larger pack helped to keep cost lower. I used them for attaching joist hangers and hurricane ties for a lean-to and a deck. So-far-so-good. A battery-powered impact driver to get these in weighs less than a nail gun, but you also have to apply more pressure to get it to sink into the wood vs. it just spinning (and getting hot), so that's the pro/con when you're on a ladder putting up hurricane ties. Good to always keep in mind what problem you're trying to solve and what is the best tool to do that. This was a good solution for my problem at least.
