Opening cans is easy with this can opener. The only drawback I can mention is it cuts the entire top off the can - cutting the can at the side. Be careful, the can edge can be a little sharp or if there is a lot of liquid inside as in a can of tuna, it will spill a little. No big deal to me - clean up is no biggie. The more traditional can openers create a sharp edge on the top of the can that is cut off so with either style can opener, you end up with a sharp edge.

I am thrilled with this can opener. I have a son with Asperger's who was never able to use our electric can opener, nor a regular manual can opener. I decided to get this for him and hoped he'd be able to use it. I was really happy, when on his first attempt, he opened a can! I'm extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

I have had several (even the pampered chief & oxo good grips) can openers that cut the lid off but, NONE of them ever came close to how good this one works. The only thing that would make this better is if the handles were a little longer. I am a woman and they are even a little short for me. But I love it anyway...

This can opener works well & opens the cans from the side rather than the top. That concerns me about the possibility of having bits of the can or label falling into the food. It is described as small but is only a bit smaller than other can openers.I also bought the Zyliss can opener and am happier with it. It is easier to use.

I thought this was difficult to use actually! I am not necessarily a weak person by any means but I found this difficult to use (even left-handed which I am ) Even some people at work had trouble using this

Well at last a dependable opener that works without a hitch..I also have a weakness for anything that is translucent red so I am totally sold on this little gem.

This opener will open any size/shape of can while not leaving a lip to catch food when you empty it.

easy to use, only issue is you cant use the lid to press the water out of tuna cans, lol.
