Impressive
Alright, I'll admit that when I heard about this, I thought "Oh great, they're making batman and superman story with their daughters as them, can DC get anymore dumb". But, After I read this book, and the one printed before hand, I have to say I'm getting proven wrong, time and again. Each character works together quite well and complements each other in ways I couldn't ever expect. To those people who think that this book should have stayed in the Earth 2 continuity, I think they don't realize is that the when, and if, a crossover teams them up with the mainstream Batman and Superman, this simplifies trying to find a cosmic calamity and getting them to cross worlds. And on that note, this book is awesome!!

Good comic. I like this duo especially their origins
Good comic. I like this duo especially their origins, I though they were creative. They need to drop the PC version of Powergirl's costume though, like Ms. Marvel's Warbird outfit it's part of her signature as a character. I have no problem with them feeling the need to "modernize" female costumes so everyone isn't running around in a battle bikini but this was overdoing it. Still, the writers and the artists do a good job of poking fun at the whole thing and this unlikely duo is well written as both characters function well solo as well as a team.

Good... but not quite clicking
This take on the classic Superman-Batman team up book World's Finest stars Huntress and Power Girl daughters/heirs to Superman and Batman from an alternate universe. Trapped on the New 52 Earth they're trying to get home while attracting attention from Darkseid's minions. With writing by Paul Levitz and art by George Perez and Kevin McGuire this is a dream book for me in many ways. But it never quite clicks.Perez and McGuire are as good as ever, but they're supplimented by several other artists, none of whom are bad, but none of whom stand out.Part of the problem is the main plot of the book (getting Huntress and Power Girl home) cannot go anywhere. It's tied into a larger long-term plot line that will probably be settled in a massive cross-over in a few years. So they run in circles and get no where.Another problem is they never give a convincing reason the two are hiding. They go out of their way to avoid the New 52 versions of Superman and Batman but never give a convincing reason why they can't just go to them for help. Worse yet, as they uncover evidence Darkseid is active on Earth their failure to warn Earth's existing heroes makes them seem negligent. And finally in order to hide they lie, steal, fight other heroes and basically come across as pretty negative.I can't help but think how much better this book would be if it were set on their Earth where Superman and Batman died and we could see them filling some pretty big boots. But with them on New 52 Earth they're just 2 more minor heroes in a world already overcrowded wtih them.

The duo continues
I was glad to see PG back in the costume I saaw her in when she first appeared in the late 70s. Kara and Helena still taking care of business and dealing with there current situation. eventually they will meet some twist and turns. And wondering if they will ever get back home on Earth 2. I enjoyed this book as much as Volume 1 and waiting see how this go!!!

Great looking book
I love both of the main characters. That's the major reason I made this purchase in the first place. Which Paul Levitt handles the characters well & the art is great.

World's Finest vol 2: hunt and be hunted
Although this takes place during DC's "The New 52", this series follows the only survivors of the original DC Universe which gave way to "Flashpoint" and "The New 52". These are the adventures of the Huntress and Power Girl.

Series just gets better and better
This series is just awesome. My favourite comic book characters are usually not the mainstream characters, i.e. Superman, Barman. I enjoy reading about the heroes that are usually supporting characters. So when I saw this series I had to get it, Power Girl and Huntress are 2 of my favorite supporting characters that help out the big 3 (Superman, Barman, Wonder Woman), from time to time. It's great to see them with their own series, I hope DC continues this series for a while.
