The laces came nicely packaged in paper wrappers as shown in the lower half of one photo on the listing. The colors also seem to match that lower half of the same photo (ie. the laces in the paper wrappers) pretty well, too. I haven't measured all the laces yet, but so far out of 5 sets I've found most are closer to 42" or even 40" and none yet are 45" long. I do need a variety of sizes for various uses, so I'm okay with some shorter ones, especially for the great price. If you have your heart set on 45" laces, you might want to look elsewhere. Can't comment yet on durability as these only just arrived.
