I've been using this for many years now, and it always works as it should.

Stay away! Unless you are a networking/computer expert, you will constantly be trying to figure out how to adjust picture, add cameras back to nvr after power outage, access camera ui, access nvr ui, find out what your camera's ip address is, understand what tech support is saying, get tech support to understand what you are saying, etc. Very frustrating. Not to mention, the amcrest view pro and view pro 2 app is complete trash. If you want to set it all up and be able to keep an eye on things while you're not at home without constant frustration, look elsewhere!

Good cameras, had no problem installing them and the picture is good. I came back a month later to buy more but the price increased a whopping 30%! They’re not that great. Now I have to find an alternative.

Metal housing, in service for a few weeks, so far, no problems. Setup through web interface using standard browser, no plugins. Compatible with iSpy Agent dvr.

So far Amcrest has been the most solid IP POE cameras I have. Great app. And excellent on-camera management (through it's on-camera IP login). Good consistent and reliable connectivity. It's more expensive than others but you can tell more work had gone into it's ease of use and support. Recommend over Foscam. I've also tried Forwch, which is similar but cheaper, if you're on a tight budget, however more knowledge is required with little support.
