Real Bike Shoes Make a Big Difference - and these as a decent price.
Shoes seem to be well made and good materials. Price is reasonable. They actually fit very well while riding. They feel tight when not riding, but I think that is due to the stiff sole that gives a little when riding. Overall, I think they do the job quite well and look good too. These are the first bike riding shoes I've gotten. What a difference! I'd been tolerating a lot of foot pain for years using casual sneakers. This was new to me, so for those of you that never used bike riding shoes note bike riding shoes make a big difference. They have stiff undersoles so your feet don't have to absorb as much pressure in any particular area of your sole. Instead the pressure/strain is consistently evenly spread across the whole of your foot undersole. And their sole is specifically designed to easily grip the pedal so you don't have to adjust your foot position every so often when it slips. Not first understanding the function of the stiff foot sole, I first got a pair of hybrid bike shoes. They had the grip but compromised on the foot sole stiffness so that the shoes could be worn casually as well. Not what I needed. I think sole stiffness is key to the functionality of good bike shoes for any bike riding that gives you a decent workout.

Quality and Comfort
I had ordered three different gravel shoes from three different companies after reading multiple reviews. The top shoe, for me, was this pair. I normally wear an 8.5-9 shoe and took a gamble on the size 9. It is a perfect fit. I tend toward a wide (D) width and not only was this spacious and comfortable but the ease slipping them on, sold me. Looking at the stitching and feel, I think this shoe will last me a long time. My riding is a mix of gravel and road, more in the commuting mindset than mountain biking fyi.

Great MB shoe!
Super cute! A gloriously wide width so I didn’t have to size up! True to size. Very firm sole is excellent for preventing foot pain and fatigue while pedaling long distances. Like any biking shoe, they are a bit awkward to walk in because they are so stiff in the sole. But that just makes sense. So I just plan on trading shoes when I reach my destination after commutes. Hopefully the canvas will be breathable during hot weather rides. It seems I was lucky to be able to grab one of the last pairs of women’s size 9. So whoever supplies these, please send more similar styles and other fun colors in this size! I’d buy ‘em!

Great Mountain bike shoe
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fits good, got it 1/2 size bigger and at a great price. Product looks great and feels great. Could not find it in stock in the bike stores or shoe stores here on Oahu, (Hawaii)

Good product but ...
Those shoes are smaller than standar Adidas tennis. Next time I will buy 1/2 extra size, thats mean 8.5 instead 8.

Really nice for biking and chilling
Wow. These really work great. Will not slip off pedal and you feel the entire foot push on every power stroke. Also perfectly fine to wear as street shoe, unlike other bike shoes. Comfortable

I have been riding with Five Ten shoes for years, starting with my Impacts. After hundreds of rides at Whistler and the Shore, they finally fell apart, leaving me to find something new. I settled on the Freerider since I’m older now and mostly just ripping around on my e-bike, so I didn’t need all the extra protection the Impacts provided. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical now that they’re owned by Adidas, but the rubber feels like the same Stealth compound I was used to, and they definitely look a lot better than the Impacts. My only slight complaint is the clopping sound they make when walking—guess that’s the trade-off. Overall, I recommend them as a solid all-mountain/urban shoe.
