This is by far the best board game I’ve played. What I love 1. Very engaging and strategic with its area control and resource management gameplay 2. The political tools are well integrated and make it something that makes you laugh and banter while wearing your board gamer hat. 3. The board changes every game. Makes it as exciting every time. 4. There is just so much you can do in the game , it’s hard to tell who is going to take it away. Must buy if you like strategic games. I’d rate it above Catan and terraforming mars. This one is a collectable.

I am delighted. This is a highly intelligent, interesting, and a very engaging game to play. It's a refreshing strategy game. I had heard about a couple of these political strategy games - Shasan, and Sarkar. I bought both to satisfy my curiosity and to exercise my brain cells a little more than I usually get a chance to do. I felt Shasan got long and boring. Credit to the makers for introducing a new board game in the market, but we kind of lost interest along the way. Sarkar is amazing though. There are a lot of layers, and there's a lot of thinking to be done, lots of variables, and we all really enjoyed it. It's a real thrill from start to finish. Loved it !

Perfect for game night with friends. Intuitive design and smart game play which is very relatable. We played it with friends at game night, and everyone loved it! The game allows players to always have a chance, even though it may seem like someone is running away with it. Great to see such games coming out of India!

Such a unique yet fun game. Was very easy to learn, but as the game moves on it requires heavy strategy to win. Very interesting design mildly based on the animal farm It's value for the money is great. Highly recommend this game

So I recently played this at a friend's place, it was a lazy Sunday afternoon and I was a little sleepy after a sumtuous lunch but within 5 mins of starting the game I became wide awake. Sarkaar hits the sweet spot between being for casual players and serious boardgame afficianados. With the game lasting 45 mins to an hour, it's perfect for everyone. While playing I got reminded of Catan and Risk by the gameplay elements, but Sarkaar holds it own quitely with the nuanced Indian political context. The illustrations are to die for and downright hillarious. Oh and I won despite not looking like anywhere close, so it can turn around quickly for you too! Stay hopeful.
