Locsanity Curved Interlocking Tool for Microlocs and Medium Locs Maintenance – Hair Tools for Dreadlocks, Sisterlocks, Interlocks, and Crochet Locks

The pandemic has push us to be DIYers. I was so nervous to learn the process necessary to tighten my own Sisterlocks but my consultant seriously went ghost on me. After watching a few Youtube videos and feeling pretty comfortable with the process the next step was choosing a sturdy, easy to use, locking tool. The Locksanity Hair tool is perfect! I lose things sometimes :) so having 2 of them was a great start. The small velvet bag they come in can hold the lock tools, my small clips and ponytail holders (so everything is in one place) Some of my locks are a little larger and the tool still works to tighten them. It is comfortable in my hand (not too small or large) and makes re-tightening my Sisterlocks easy! I've tightened my locks 2 times now, I even tighten some in between a full re-tightening (along my edges and sides) It is a great product! I suggested it to my sister who also has sisterlocks and she loves it too!

This is a neat little tool. It SMOOTH STEEL and is the best value that I have seen as of yet. At first, I thought it was going to be too big to fit through the base of my locks, but it worked perfectly. I have small interlocks, but they are not quite small enough to be considered microlocks. I do a simple, 2 point rotation and my hair looks just as good as it would if I were going to my loctician. I am SO glad I found this tool. It is very sturdy and just glides through my hair.It also saves me a LOT of money and seems like it will make my retightening a breeze! I researched different methods on the internet and using this type of tool seemed to be the best option for me. It turns out I was right. I got TWO tools in a little drawstring bag that will help me to keep up with them better. I ended up using pliers to close the hole up a bit so that it could fit through the base of my smaller locs. I love the curve as it helps to keep me from joining locs. I DO have to be careful, but the curve helps.**I ordered a second set of these after I messed up one of the tools by trying to shorten it. The next set was shorter and now I REALLY LOVE them! I just changed the rating to 5 stars because I can retighten my shorter locs now without struggle.

I have started microlocks (with two strand twists). I did my first reti with this tool. At first I thought the length would be a problem but it wasn’t at all. The curve made the length a non issue. It was easy to use once I got the hang of things and was able to finish in a reasonable amount of time.Although this is something I could probably make myself, I’m happy to pay for the convenience of not having to.

Hi there, I just received my Locsanity curved interlocking tool and this is exactly what I was looking for for my very tiny micro locks. This is my second time self interlocking my hair. The first time I have bought those plastic yarn needles but they didn’t last long at all. I was a little worried about those metal locks tools at first but, as I tried it I adopted it one time. It’s so much efficient, it makes the retightening so much easier. So for now I give it a straight five stars ⭐️.Thank you Locsanity Fam.

Haven’t got the hang of using but as soon as I do I know they’re gonna work our great

I have not used as yet, but I do like the overall look of the tools. The material used to create the tool feels pliable as I am able to bend it if I really try, however, I don't think this should be a problem when using it. The overall look is sleek and smooth as I see no defects. Also, they are smaller than my current tools which were basically purchased on a whim. I'm hoping these tools do a better and neater job during retightening. I am waiting a few more weeks before we tightening and may provide an update at that time. P.S. I am disappointed it did not come with the little baggy for me to store them in.

I love this new tool it’s so easy to use and the reties are so easy and less likely to merge locs together.
