I’m a big fan of Pork Scratchings/Crunch, especially when I’m doing my keto periods of food intake and diet. I’ve purchased and tried numerous offerings in different flavours from various producers over recent years and almost all of them don’t live up to expectations. Their products seem to have a small percentage of actual crispy/crunchy skin on the scratchings, compounded by fat that hasn’t been fried, cooked and rendered properly...which I find rather disgusting. These Black Country products are more akin to the texture and weight of Quavers and the result is a far more pleasurable tasting product. Like others have mentioned, they are fairly salty, though only at the very bottom of the pack. Personally, I enjoy the saltiness and it doesn’t hinder my enjoyment. The packs are huge and I think they represent excellent value for money, especially when compared to the measly amounts you get in the tiny supermarket or pub packs. Once these are done in, I’m going to try the Salt & Vinegar flavour as well as get some more of these salted ones. I’m also going to try using these in place of breadcrumbs for various keto recipes. Conclusively, an excellent product.

Great for dipping, great crunch and tasty. Slight down side a few hard bits only in a few packets.

Taste great, light and a lot less greasy than pork scratching. Pretty heavy on the salt content though.

The are delicious and good value

These are amazing! I’ve been on a ketosis diet for the past 5 weeks and I was craving something crunchy like crisps. These are a perfect alternative. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the bags are, you get a lot for your money. They were delivered earlier than expected which is a bonus. They are really light and puffed like quavers or prawn crackers but with a lovely crunch to them. The only thing I would comment on is how salty they are, I enjoy quite salty food and there is a lot of great flavour to them, but they were VERY salty. I combat this by having them with salad so they act like a crouton and it takes the saltiness down enough to just be really tasty. Highly recommend *****

My favourite snack, especially with an ice cold pint. Scratchings delivered in perfect condition, with over 6 months shelf life.

Bags are huge and I find them super salty. Wont buy again as they don't suit my palette but their isn't anything wrong with them. I just prefer a smaller bag of pork scratchings instead of a bigger bag of puffs
