BOSCH GLM100-23 100 Ft Blaze Laser Distance Measure, Includes 2 AA Batteries

Bought for my hubby. He appreciates the size and accuracy of the measuring tape. Laser makes it so much easier than using the pull out tape. Definitely recommend.

I’ve used the BOSCH GLM100-23 100 Ft. on almost every job and site survey for a long time now, and it’s been nothing but dependable. The battery has never given me any trouble, and the grip feels solid and comfortable in my hand. Measurements are quick and accurate, which makes my workflow smooth—I can measure, jot down the numbers, and move on without wasting time. It’s become one of those tools I don’t even think twice about bringing along because I know it’ll perform every time.

First laser tape measure and I love it. Very easy to use and it has been very accurate so far. I had to take out and replace the batteries a couple of times to get it working at first. It seemed to freeze up a couple of times, but now works perfectly. I'd recommend getting it if you are shopping for a device like this.

pretty good overall. I bought a cheapo random brand one a long time ago which broke pretty quickly. I wanted to buy a more reputable brand one this go around and overall, I am happy with it. I wish it could change from doing a feet/in measurement to just all inches. It would definitely make it a bit easier instead of having to do the conversions separately. I do also wish it would tell you if it's rounding up or down too. Otherwise, this device is solid. I used this to measure my windows for an interior shade mount install. made the process so much easier and all the shades fit like a glove.

Having used mechanical tape measures my entire life, (minus 5 years) I finally decided to go digital. Accuracy on this unit is exceptional, measurement options offer a great variety, simple layout and it works. Plus its a Bosch, they are just made well and last. There are many other units out there with various bells and whistles, but I just needed a unit that measured accurately and I could use by myself. This is it. I hesitated due to the price but it is well worth it. I found my new tape measure replacement. If you simply need something accurate and reliable this is it.

Excellent small laser measure. Small enough to keep in a pocket. Easy to use. Numbers and fractions are clear to see. Calculations are made in a second. Use mostly for measuring crown molding--perfect for that.

Good: Accurate. Amazing that it can time a laser with this much accuracy, but it does. Dead on perfect vs. a yardstick. Discovered I'm 1/4" taller than I thought I was. Easy to use despite only two buttons. Battery life appears to be good since I'm still on the first pair despite all my playing around (and some serious work.) Bad: Beam is a bit weak. If you're going to measure distances anywhere near the advertised 100' range, make sure you do it at dusk. Enclosed pamphlet has tons of info re not looking into a laser beam that won't hurt you, but to learn how to actually USE the thing you have to go online and download a PDF...that contains one page of useful info. Blow the extra penny on paper instructions, Bosch. Bottom line: I bought this to measure the rooms in my house and the size of the lot it sits on. An awkward two-person job with a tape measure, effortless with this gadget. Just don't expect to measure over 50' or so outdoors with the sun out. Five stars. Bottom line

Simple to use and accurate. It's pretty small so it fits in your shop coat or apron easily.
