This mobile music box isn't wooden but is made beautifully to look just like real wood. It has a really great speaker and the volume can be adjusted easily. The sound quality is really lovely. I find it quite soothing myself. Each melody is played like twinkling bells (if that makes sense). I'm glad our 5 month old is in our room with us; we can listen to it too, now 😄 The mobile music box does have quite a few songs you wouldn't expect, such as, Christmas songs, the happy birthday tune, here comes the bride.. but if you're not bothered by that (we're not), then I'd highly recommend this product. I think my favourite song on this is 'you are my sunshine.' This is definitely Anakin's favourite too. Okay... the only downside to the mobile music box, is that once it goes through all of the songs, it turns itself off instead of going back through them. Our son likes his mobile to constantly play. We got this one to replace his nuby one due to the motor no longer spinning. I an gutted that the music box turns off after the sings finish, but nevertheless, it's a great music box and does last at least 20 minutes to half an hour. The warning on this product makes me giggle a bit... 'do not use during thunderstorms.' I mean... sure, let me just take it outside and use it like an umbrella 😅 Overall, great product and I highly recommend it.😊

This thing is fantastic. Another reviewer mentioned that it plays "Here Comes the Bride"; I have not heard that one, but it definitely plays some strange music. For example, one of its tunes is "A Groovy Kind of Love" by Phil Collins, but obviously done in musicbox tinkly style. Some of the songs have static and one appears to have been recorded in a room with BG noise and chatter. You can hear odd, indistinct sounds that might be voices, but too quiet to tell. The only other thing is this thing is LOUD. I had to cover the speaker holes with padding and then wrap it in tape and its still quite loud. I've removed a star for the volume and because the weird song choices and quality issues with some of the songs might not be everyone's cup of tea.

My little one loves his mobile moving, this is great and includes little tunes too! Great product.

Looks nice, turns at an ok speed and is generally decent except... Every song is like 10 seconds long, and incomplete at best. It is also full of Christmas music! The 32 songs or whatever cycle round every few minutes. It is quite frankly jarring, like the collective DJ'ing of a dozen small children arguing over what track to put on and jumping in all the time. Best to switch it to rotate only.
