Work in an open office? Need a microphone? Then this mic's for you!
I work in an open office environment but I am on Zoom calls much of the day. Wearing a headset all day has its challenges: headaches, earaches, messing up my hair, looking like a doofus when needing to use video. Then came the CMTEK microphone to the rescue. This microphone plus my Bluetooth (skin tone) earbuds provide me with style and comfort. The microphone is small, lightweight, and looks professional. Since I also do not have a dedicated workspace, the portabillty allows me to easily set it up and pack it away quickly each day. Like another review has mentioned, I have not heard the audio quality myself but I know this microphone is much improved upon my previous headset mic because my regular meeting attendees no longer complain about not being able to hear me or audio cutting in and out. Their confirmation upon asking "Can you hear me?" has been a resounding, "Yes! Finally! Thanks for fixing that!" Ok, maybe not all of that, but positive feedback just the same. The best feature of this mic is that it is not highly sensitive to background noise. I have been surrounded by others on calls or having conversations and have not received any complaints. One downside is that the mute button is not synced with Zoom, so I have to make sure I am not double muted before speaking. Either use the Zoom mute or microphone mute, but not both. But this is not a major concern for me and after nearly a month of usage I have built a habit of managing this. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase: an inexpensive, portable, microphone that performs well in my open office environment.

Surprisingly Good for the Price
Delivers surprisingly good sound quality and works well for calls and basic recordings. Easy setup, clear audio, and a compact design. I have a loud mechanical keyboard and the noise-canceling effectively blocks out the noise. The only downside? It keeps unmuting itself after opening certain apps or rebooting, which can be a bit annoying. Otherwise, it's a great value for the price!

Good quick and easy USB plug and play mic
A great mic for making videos or real-time chatting via your favorite real-time chatting app. The mic also has a mute button. Push the button once, and it stays muted. Push again to unmute.

I’m really impressed with this microphone for the price. It is truly plug and play—I just connected it to my PC and it worked instantly without any complicated connectivity issues. The sound quality is very clear for gaming, and it does a great job of keeping the noise level down so my friends don't hear much background static. The quality of the build feels solid, and the flexible neck is a great design choice. I also love the on/off button for quick volume control; the light indicator is perfect for knowing exactly when I'm muted. This is excellent value for money if you need a reliable desk mic.

Great cheap little mic!
I bought the CMTECK USB Computer Microphone for video calls and some light voice recording, and it’s been a great purchase. Setup was super easy—just plugged it into my laptop and it was ready to go, no drivers needed. The sound quality is clear and much better than my built-in mic. It picks up my voice well without having to lean in, and the omnidirectional pickup works great for group calls too. I also really like the mute button with the LED indicator—super handy to quickly mute without guessing. It’s compact, lightweight, and doesn’t take up much space on my desk. Perfect for Zoom meetings, Skype, and even some casual YouTube or voiceover work. Definitely a solid mic for the price!

Plug und Play funktionierte bei mir nicht am Laptop und auch in den Einstellungen konnte ich es nicht konfigurieren. Keine Ahnung, woran's lag. Zum glück war es nicht teuer 😏
