Horrible product and customer service very rude
Oh my God absolutely horrible product and service I have spent over 3 hours trying to set this watch up the customer service was rude they said they were updating they didn't know how to operate the app they couldn't tell me how to do things and they were really rude and Kurt to me talking talking condescending to me hanging up on me I hope you read this review before you waste your time I mean I've wasted some valuable time I was in a bind and needed this watch quick and to set it up so that I could go to work and be able to have some peace of mind about leaving my dad at home but I just want to say please don't don't do it I mean even if they get the bugs worked out the the rudeness of the customer service the one good thing about customer service is they did speak English they didn't have a accent but every female I talk to most of them are females except for one where really rude and acted irritated and they kept putting me on the hold just about basic troubleshooting you know they didn't know they don't know I really wish I could talk to somebody higher up in the company but you know you do stuff like this you know you're not going to keep on you're not you're not going to it's going to eventually catch up with you

NO FALL DETECTION AVAILABLE!
Got it on Prime Day, so it was 1/2-price! Yes, looks nice! It fits okay. Found out when speaking to customer service to activate my account that there's NO Fall Detection available for a watch, one of my main reasons for getting this item. (I just looked at the ad page again, and didn't see anything about 'Fall Detection') Also was told that a pendant MUST be worn around neck for Fall Detection to work, NOT clipped to your belt! (thinking about this now, where would I clip it when I shower??) Oh, well... it also counts my steps and shows me the weather.

Error out of the box and poor customer service.
First impression is complete disappointment. Watch arrived with sim card already placed inside. No way to tell as didnt want to risk avoiding warranty by checking. Phone gave an error the moment it powered up. Watch behavior like swirling circle around the logo isnt explained why or what its doing. Setup instructions dont match with what we are seeing during setup. Keeps saying we need to connect it to our internet despite its a cellular service connection. Won't acquire signal. When my father called to get support, he was quickly rushed off the phone, by the support team member, who took his call saying that he needed to charge the watch despite my father telling him that the watch was fully charged. Support ends at 8 PM. And you have to wait an entire day to get any kind of support or activation, which is supposed to be set up right when you take it out of the box. Day four and still no resolution. I'm afraid they're all hyped and no service gonna be returning soon if I don't back from them and getting a refund on my plan. Since it was never utilized and the watch appears to be dead on arrival as it only gives us.Error messages.

Leaves a Great Deal to Be Desired
My overall experience with Medical Guardian was simply not acceptable for a medical emergency alert device that is expected to save a life. The support desk for the service was not dependable, and did not notify me when alerts were received. There were also multiple false alerts that resulted in EMTs being sent to my mom's home at 2:30 in the a.m. I also had multiple failures of the hardware, which was a prior model to this watch. MG replaced the device three times during the contract, finally replacing it with one of these MG Move watches. The retention specialist that 'upgraded' me lied about the watch supporting fall detection, which was the only reason I used a device like this in the first place. When my mom did eventually fall - breaking multiple bones -- the lack of fall detection meant she eventually called the EMTs using her home phone. MG provided two months of service credits to attempt to make up for the awful service experience. When I cancelled the service, they took back the service credits and kept two months of my renewal premium. Overall, the Medical Guardian Service and MGMove watch were not trustworthy, demonstrated terrible lack of business ethics, and were not worth the significant cost.

Didn’t work with my Verizon phone
I could not use it. It was for AT&T. My provider is Verizon so I sent it back.

Simple Medical Alert Device
I bought a Medical Guardian Move from G web site, not from Amazon. I've used the device for one month so far. It was easy to set up and use. I like the simplicity of the watch. It doesn't monitor heartbeat or calories, only has a step counter and weather report. The watch voice is difficult to understand. It's not a standard US English intonation. Several times the watch has checked in on me, asking me if I've fallen. I have not fallen, but I think the watch slides against my gloves or sleeve and causes an alert. It's easy enough to reply, "I'm OK. I did not fall." or tap the "No" response button on the phone. I found the Medical Guardian web site registration to have errors which stalled verifying my account and logging into my account. Customer service was polite and patient. I'm a little nervous about the watch strap after the watch dropped off my arm while I was running errands. I didn't notice that it was gone until I got back home. Apparently the strap cannot be changed or replaced.
