SAMSUNG Galaxy S23+ Plus 5G Factory Unlocked 256GB - Phantom Black (Renewed)

A few years ago I stopped buying the "so-call free on us" phones pitched by the phone carriers, and I now always buy phones outright online. It saves a ton of money. This S23+ is my latest phone and I could not be happier with it. I have both an AT&T service via SIM card, and also Verizon service via eSim. This phone works flawless on both services. The phone is truly unlocked which allows me to connect to the two services. This phone is the perfect size for me needs, both large enough to be useful, small enough to be portable. As usual, Samsung makes quality phones, and this one is no different. The battery life is decent, even with having two services, because the phone has to communicate with two cell services simultaneously. I do set the battery to only charge to 80% to save on battery life and it usually lasts me a couple days.

Phone has dings, all round the edges. Pretty expected considering I bought the refurbished good condition instead of excellent to save some money. Sound quality in general sounds bad at the main speaker next to the charging port. I do need to clarify: the phone you purchase from this seller is unlocked from the factory. It's model code is the S916U1, and the U1 is factory unlocked. If it doesn't have the 1, then it's from a carrier. I recommend you buy factory unlocked phones because they don't come with any bloat from carriers. The feel of the phone is standard, honestly feels like a regular S23+. The functions of the phone are standard, like a new phone. It did come with setup already completed, but I needed to reset it anyway to transfer everything. Cellular wise - it connects to a 5G+ tower, or if your Sim isn't compatible l, it can switch to 2g or 4g LTE or just 4G.

As advertised, I got what I requested. The phone was in great condition. I did ask for excellent. There was a little scuffing on the bottom, but otherwise the phone was in great condition. That's the only thing that stopped me from doing 5 stars.

Literally looks brand new; no flaws whatsoever. Why pay $1000 for the new model when you can get a 2 year old model for a third of the price? The battery has been lasting 2 plus days, where my S20 had to be charged nightly

I bought an "unlocked" phone. It came with printed directions telling me that it will indicate it is locked to Verizon, but not to worry, as soon as all the updates were done, I could insert my sim and the phone would work. Since the phone came completely wiped back to the factory release date, I had to individually and incrementally install all 32 updates. At 10 minutes per update, that is 320 minutes. It took an entire afternoon/evening plus the next morning. Normal factory resets do not remove all the security updates and OS updates, so that should have been my first clue. After all that work, the phone still said it was locked to Verizon. I spent an entire day on the phone with both T-Mobile and Verizon tech support, driving 2 cities over to go to the Verizon and T-mobile "corporate" stores. No help. Technically the phone is unlocked, it is clean, it is not stolen or lost, it is supported by T-Mobile, but no one could figure out how to convince the phone it was indeed unlocked. We did 3 additional factory resets, we tried 1 SIM and 2 eSIMS. T-mobile tried to remotely install an E-sim. The manager at corporate verizon said something is wrong with the phone that is not reparable. He told me if I was a verizon customer, they would have exchanged it for free. T-Mobile also looked at it in person and were just as mystified. However, they accepted it as a trade-in, even though it was locked. So I ended up trading it in to T-Mobile and getting a new phone. I recommend to anyone buying a used phone to insist on seeing a photo of the screen showing the "unlocked" status and not just take the sellers word for it.

The phone is working great! There were minor scratches on the chassis, but everyone uses cases anyways. Everything works like a brand new phone, and I am now convinced to never buy a phone full price again.

This has been a pretty good phone and a great camera. I highly recommend it and would certainly purchase it again, especially at the cost savings.

Llegó con rayaduras en la pantalla pero hasta esos se veía original, me parece que le cambiaron la batería porque se ve donde están los tornillo y se sintió buena autonomía, las cámaras no me convencieron del todo comparado a mi anterior celular (pixel 7), en general estaba bien. El único inconveniente fue la entrada para cargarlo, a veces no cargaba o salía la alerta de humedad/obstrucción, le quite un pedazo de pelusa y con eso quedó. Le pongo 4 estrellas por lo de la entrada del cargador y las cámaras.

Todo funcionando bien en el teléfono, es versión USA y el menú de Configuración no cambia de idioma esta en inglés, pero en general el teléfono en excelente estado y funcionando excelente

Tuve la mala suerte de que el teléfono llegará estéticamente perfecto, todo servía de maravilla. El único problema es que la bocina sonaba fatal como que había algo atorado en ella o algo por el estilo. Tuve que pedir la devolución. Hubiera sido genial que funcionará, supuestamente lo pedí en estado "excelente" y se me hace raro que hayan pasado por alto un problema tan notable como ese.
