I've tried all of them, even made my own, and this tops them all. It transfers very cleanly, and is quite long lasting. I use an inkjet printer to make my stencils, which requires a little bit heavier paper than traditional thermal paper. Too many stencil gels lack the sort of "grab" that this one does, or they'll smear a lot if they do have that "grab". This doesn't. Just perfect stuff.

Absolutely the best tattoo stencil product I’ve ever used. I’ve been tattooing for eight years now, and I have tried majority of the industry Staples, and this is by far my most favorite. I do very detailed fine line work and I’ve found that most tend to either not transfer the thin lines and detail over or they smudge it. This stencil solution is perfect, it transfers everything cleanly and dark so it stays during the entire Tattoo process. I’ve been using it now for 3–4 years and I won’t use anything else.

I have been trying out different stencil solutions for some time now, I’ve tried them all. For me Hold Fast stencil solution is now my go to. This stuff stays on even without letting it dry up makes tattooing easier without having to worry about losing your stencil, the smell is great and the quality is top notch.

BUY IT! this stuff smells so good and applies so easily the stencil looks amazing and stays on all session! I'd give it 20 stars if I could!

Love this stuff! It smells good and the stencil was going nowhere. I took one star because it's not as sticky as I'd like, it's either too slippery or the stencil doesn't stick down, I'll just try a little more of it from now on, it doesn't seem to make the carbon bleed like Stencil Stuff.

You could use this to set your stencils and then stand in the middle of a hurricane, and the stencil would still be on your skin. I love this stuff and I will buy it every time.

Only redeeming quality is the fact this stuff transfered the stencil really well. Unfortunately this crap Wipes off damn near instantly. Had a realism piece to do and had to freehand 80% of the design because the stencil was wiping off. I'll continue to stick with electrum
