Arrived in perfect condition. Easy to follow instructions. I put it together by myself (108 pounds). I had my neighbor help me lift it from the floor into position against wall. Substantial piece.

This bookshelf is a stylish addition to my newly redecorated chinoiserie office. During assembly, my husband noted the high quality and substantial feel of the bookshelf. It's quite large, offering plenty of space for all my office supplies, printer, and cutting machine, as well as my collection of decorative vintage glassware. I'm delighted with my choice and would recommend this bookshelf for its solid construction, style, and the generous amount of space it provides. Although it's a sizable piece with many parts and takes a few hours to put together, it is beautiful and I highly recommend it.

This bookshelf is sturdy, spacious, affordable, and looks really nice in the room—definitely a step up from your typical flat-pack shelves. It easily fits over 150 books plus several board games, and the shelves feel solid and well-made. I use this in my loft game room. I liked the white and black option because it went well with the rest of the room, although not pictured. I really wanted to get a $3,000 bookshelf with ladder, but opted for this in its place for now - a very worthy option. My son (16) put it together by himself within an hour - with some not-so easy instructions - also came with spare parts and all the tools required for assembly. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it really needs to be bolted to the wall to be fully stable, especially if you’re loading it up with on carpet and not a solid floor. It’s not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if you’re hoping for a freestanding option. Overall, if you want a bookshelf that combines style, strength, and serious storage, this one delivers.
