Perfect for Labradoodle with torn ligament
My 77 pound 12 year old Labradoodle tore the ligament in her right hock and was hobbling around on 3 legs as the torn one was too painful to even let touch the ground. I couldn’t let her suffer for 4 weeks waiting for the earliest consult (!) and then another 1-2 to schedule surgery so I bought a bunch of different brands of this type of brace to try to find one to give her some joint stability. I’d give this one a 10 if I could!! It’s well padded with metal stays on each side and long sturdy Velcro straps. Now she can bear weight on it without being in agony. She even happily stands still for me to put them on which is out of character for her. Gives lots of kisses too so I know they’re giving her relief. She’s still limping a bit but bearing weight and can manage stairs. I’m using both to support the good leg too since it’s under so much stress. Working up to keeping them on for longer periods of time per the instructions but they haven’t irritated her in any way. They don’t slip at all. Just have to be careful not to get her long hair get caught in the Velcro. The other brands I ordered with similar ratings were more expensive and nothing but a bit of soft foam and short bits of Velcro - no support whatsoever. These have thin well-padded metal strips that give the support she needs.

Good product
Stayed on pretty well but my dog was able to get it off eventually. Would need to put a cone on his head. Otherwise it fit my chiweenie well and easy to use.

Caused Friction Wound
Update: ~Krissy (my Shih Tzu) is doing better ever since the friction wound she got from the brace. I've kept it clean and bandaged it until she left it alone. I received a full refund from Pawee Tree because they took their time to show they care for their furry customers as well as the fur momma's and fur dada's. I appreciate how quick their response was as well. Thank you, Pawee Tree! Be blessed!~ I bought the X-small braces for my Shih Tzu who has neuropathy in her right leg. It worked great the first day, (she did not wear it over night), but the second day she wore it, it caused a friction wound. I had to put antiseptic on her leg just above the hock and wrap it with a self-adhesive wrap. I am beyond upset. The left leg brace is missing so I can’t return it. I basically paid for garbage. I do not recommend this for Shih Tzu’s.

Ok, but too much work
So, it’s well made but you can’t keep it on them for too long. And you have to slowly get them used to it. So we gave up…

THESE BRACES WORK!
I was skeptical when ordering since my dog's back legs were so weak and did not offer him stability when walking...and running was out of the question. He had ACL surgery almost two years ago and it never healed quite right. Now, with the new braces, he is a very different dog! He is apparently pain-free which surprises him. The braces have given me back my old dog! He runs back and forth from his favorite chair to the kitchen and back...I think he is still surprised by the return of the stability in his back legs. For us, these braces are a God-send. If you order them, I really hope you and your dog share in the same results. So inexpensive, but what a full treasure trove of positive results and benefits. Be sure to measure your dog as directed so that you order a pair with the proper fit.

Sizing very small
I was hopeful that these would five my Rottie some relief, however the largest size didn’t come close to fitting.

BEST LITTLE BRACE FOR MY YORKIE
For reference: my pup is an 8lb, 16 y/o yorkie. She had her left back paw outer toe amputated due to cancer. I purchased this brace with the intention of preventing her twisting her little ankle or knee as a result of missing a toe for balance. (I noticed she was walking a little pigeon toes for better balance 5-6 months after her surgery). At first she walked a little funny with the brace but within 10 minutes of our first walk with this brace she was walking like normal. She doesn’t seem bothered, appears comfortable, truly a perfect fit for her little leg, easy to put on her, taking it off is a little hard but that only because the Velcro is solid quality so can’t really knock that! Highly recommend, Purchased this when my pup was 15 y/o, now she’s 16 y/o and still moving with ease and other than having had cancer she is in great condition!
