This torch is relatively compact, but gives excellent lighting with good settings. Pros - Great price - thought put into how it operates. One of the simpler torches to work with on a day to day basis especially for walking where I typically use a default setting. With this one, the default beam can be toggled with a single click of the button. Many mini-torches these days are overengineered resulting in overcomplicated operations that turn off the average individual interested in basic operation. This one does both nicely - easy for basic operations, but there's more 'under the hood'. - Nice multi-purpose lanyard. It is a nifty USB c charging cable with a calibrations on one side for up to 80mm measuring. - Charging port easily accessed with lights indicating when it's fully charged and also state of charge while in use. It's built like a tank which brings me to my only 'con'. Cons - my only con would be the weight. It's a bit heavy for what it's supposed to be.

Being a bit of a torch fetishist or flashaholic, I now own all of the current ‘X’ series from Wuben; the X-0, the X-1 and this, the X-2. I like all three lights for differing reasons, all share exceptional build quality and very usable beam characteristics. The X-2 is a great size for an everyday carry (EDC)torch, with great user interface and great runtimes on middle to high outputs. USB charging is very convenient and relatively quick for the torch’s long runtimes. I can highly recommend Wuben as a torch brand and out of the three ‘X’ torches woul pic the X-2 as the best of the bunch, the larger X-1 has a monster 12,000lumen output, but is relatively bulky in comparison, while the smaller X-0 has a great output through a really nice TIR (total internal reflector) lens and is a chunky yet small unit.

The first light delivered did not work so another one was sent after a lot of tooing and froing by email. The second light however is worth the wait. It is very solid and extremely powerful. The strap being a charging lead is very useful.
