Dangbei Neo DLP Projector 1080P Full HD, 540 ISO Lumens, Official Netflix, Auto Focus & Keystone, Dolby Audio, 120" Screen, Mini Smart Projector with Wi-Fi & Bluetooth for Home Cinema and Office Use

My impressions after two weeks; I recently switched to this projector from an Xuanpad k10 (£109). The Dangbei at £200 is significantly better quality. The picture quality and brightness is good. I switched because the Xuanpad display was too dark, image quality was low, OS was too slow. Which was xpected at the price. The Dangbei unit is nicely small and feels a decent quality and weight. No lens cover is included which is disappointing. My previous projector was an older UST £600 LG and the Dangbei compares well apart from throw. The Dangbei is not UST and I get around a 50" display at 110cm which is fine for me as the unit does not take up much space on the coffee table. The built in speakers are better than expected and definitely usable alone. The projector fan is quite quiet and does not overpower them. Connection by Bluetooth to my hifi for sound was easy. No stand is included. A suitable generic one was found on Amazon for £10. Dangbei offer specific stands for many of their projectors but not this one (so far anyway). The non-standard OS is ok as Dangbei have integrated Netflix well. If you only watch Netflix it's perfectly usable. Otherwise you will likely want to add a streaming stick like me. I'm used to using a Roku stick with my previous LG so I don't find it too much of a drawback. The Roku powers from the projectors usb port which is handy. Overall I think the Dangbei is good value. I chose it over their N2 model due to the extra brightness. Not sure if that was needed, as I don't use it in the day, but thought it might be handy. The main reason for this review is to comment on the brightness controls. I swapped several messages with Dangbei support on this. Their email support was fast and efficient. Basically I thought the brightness control didn't work because if you adjust it on the main menu screen nothing changes. You need to adjust it when the app is running (such as Netflix) and then you see it change. However, this level is not carried over to every app. You need to set the brightness level in every app. I thought this was odd but Dangbei support have assured me by email this is the way it's meant to function. Overall I think the device is fine value at £200. I reduced from 5 stars to 4 based on the lack of lens protection and the odd brightness control.

Best projector for this money by far ! Compared to any of the LCD projectors around this price point , DLP are just better Colour , Focus , picture size ,software all work well and no issues with burned screen image !

Nice and compact. Smooth connectivity to Netflix/Youtube etc. Very useful option for ethernet cable connection. Not so smooth connectivity with Apple products (for me only HDMI cable worked). Brightness fits indoors operation with mid-low ambient light level. The 1/4” thread for tripod is very helpful.

This projector is really nice, it is extremely well built using quality materials, it comes very well packaged and feels premium, it was very easy to set up, the picture is very nice and you can use it in moderate daylight with the curtains drawn, the auto key correction is amazing, you can set up the projector at any angle and press a button and it squares off the picture in just a few seconds its such a cool feature, the only issue is I cannot raise the picture up or down so you have to move the projector up or down instead, the picture is very nice with a sharp clear and vivid image, the sound if using just the projector is not great its a bit tinny and not very loud I would expect more for the price especially considering how good some small Bluetooth speakers are nowadays that being said this does have Bluetooth and I connected it to my Jbl speaker and it was great with not much lag although there was a slight delay, My one major concern is that especially at this price it should come with android tv, the pictures in their advertisement suggest that it is running android tv, it is not running google android tv it is running a Linux home brew and has its own store to download apps, there is nothing decent on this store and I cannot find any way to sideload apps so no stremio ect this is a massive disappointment as for the price of this projector they should have included a built in google tv or amazon fire stick, however you can plug one in via the hdmi however you still need the original remote for all the volume and settings so you end up having to use 2 remotes this way as a fire stick will not recognise it as a known brand and therefore will not allow the firestick remote full control, I am very disappointed with this aspect and I feel the price of 600 is just greedy given that there is no official google android tv on board, in conclusion this is a great projector if all you want is Netflix and prime and do not want to use cracked apps however at this price tag there are defiantly better options out there

I got for £150, for that price it is great. You need Amazon dongle because inbuilt software is Linux based and I haven't found way to side load apps. Anyway, quality control could be better because my unit ( second one ) had dust inside the lens , which tech support told me is normal .. ( it is supposed to be closed system, so dust free ) anyway better than cheap £50 or so lcd based projector, but not great either. For £150 , you dont get anything else of similar quality.

The contrast. And by contrast I mean the black levels. That's why there is not any official number for the contrast. It's not a deal breaker for me, especially with a screen you will be fine. The quality is amazing, the colors are spot on, the 0.34 DLP chip is great, the projector overall is one of the most affordable DLP projectors out there, especially with this image quality. The brightness is good, very bright at night with vibrant colors! To watch during the day at this price point you can't find anything anyways. I love how portable this thing is, you can take it anywhere. The OS has Netflix and Plex but that's it. You will need a TV box or a streaming device to maximize the potential. Overall it's a great deal!

Dank der intuitiven Benutzeroberfläche und der schnellen Einrichtung ist der Beamer in nur wenigen Minuten einsatzbereit. Die Linux-Oberfläche ermöglicht den direkten Zugriff auf Streaming-Dienste wie Netflix und YouTube, ohne dass zusätzliche Geräte benötigt werden. Das Gerät läuft absolut flüssig, während Android-basierte Systeme oft zu Verzögerungen neigen. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der leistungsstarke Lautsprecher, der für die kompakte Größe des Geräts erstaunlich gut klingt. Allerdings sollte man die Soundeinstellungen manuell anpassen, da die Standardeinstellungen nicht optimal sind. Auch das Design des Dangbei Neo überzeugt. 小型だと画質はそれなりだろうと大して期待してなかったのですが、全然そんなことなくて、持ち運びのしやすさだけを重要視して購入したのに、画質がとても良くて驚きました。映画鑑賞が趣味なので、NetflixやAmazon primeなど接続して楽しんでいます。職場でも使うのですが様々な互換性があり色々な場面で使えてよかったです。製品の寿命も30000時間と圧倒的なので当面は楽しめそうです。あとこれも重視してなかったですが、音も良かったです。

Me sorprende la calidad de imagen de ofrece, tiene un tamaño pequeño y apenas suena el ventilador, tiene la fuente alimentación a parte lo que hace que se caliente menos el proyector, la imagen es muy nítida, con gran brillo, sin duda es un producto fantástico, lo compré en oferta y no me arrepiento, lleva salida óptica de sonido y con un home cinema es una pasada, tiene autoenfoque

Ce vidéoprojecteur DLP full-HD HDR10 est doté de très bonnes capacité quand on va streamer sur leur logiciel Linux avec YouTube, ou Netflix HDR10/HLG. 60 Hz est bien pris en compte les vidéo et le rendu sonore est super j’ai été surpris par la précision de l’image du Neo. C’est fin il n'y a rien a redire et à ce prix avec sa technologie DLP il surpasse et de loin tous les vidéo-projecteur de cette fourchette de prix, mais il existe par contre un gros manque qui risque de le desservir ,j'ai branché afin de tester en HDMI l'Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max et la Nvidia Shield TV Pro et sur aucune des deux je n'ai pu avoir des vidéos en HDR10 car la sortie HDMI ne prend pas en compte cette fonction donc ne soyez pas surpris si lors de vos soirées cinéma cette option ne vous est pas proposé (il faut espérer qu'ils résoudrons ce problème lors d'une prochaine mise à jour de leur logiciel) malgré tout avec son prix et tous ses atouts je le conseil à tous ceux adepte du cinéma maison pour sa qualité visuel mème sans HDR10 la qualité visuel d'un vidéo-projecteur DLP reste bien au dessus et n'a absolument rien à voir avec tous les vidéo-projecteur a technologie LCD LED dans la pénombre le rendu est beaucoup plus proche de celui d'une salle obscure de cinéma au prix ou il est vendu allez y les yeux fermé vous ne serez pas déçu a ce jour niveaux qualité prix c'est ce qui ce fait de mieux dans la vidéo projection

プライムビデオとネトフリとYouTubeはサクっと起動して観れるのでとても便利です。ただ、HULUを観たいときは結局FireTVスティックを経由して観るしか方法がなさそうです。（方法があるのかな？）あとはちょっとリモコンの効きが悪いので星４つです。DLP…長持ちしてくれることを祈ります。
