Perfect for Sensitive Skin
This moisturizer is amazing! Lightweight gel texture absorbs instantly without any greasy residue. My skin feels calm, hydrated, and looks healthier. Perfect for sensitive skin - no irritation whatsoever. The oat formula is gentle yet effective. Been using it daily and noticed a real improvement in my skin's texture and appearance. Definitely repurchasing!

One of the best moisturisers out there
Got this on a deal and it's fabulous. Genuinely one of the best moisturisers out there. It goes on really lovely and is absorbed in nice. It lasts and actually hydrates my face unlike some moisturisers out there. It was really good value for money (when I bought it it was on a deal) My skin feels so good after using it. Its a small tub however i only use it on my face and you dont need a lot so it will last a long time.

Good, cost-effective choice for those with sensitive skin.
I've been using the Aveeno Oat Face Cream for about two months now, and I must say, it has been a pleasant experience. As someone with sensitive skin, I am always cautious about trying new skincare products, but this face cream has proven to be gentle and non-irritating. One of the standout features of this cream is its excellent moisturizing properties. My skin feels well-hydrated throughout the day, without any greasiness or heaviness. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, making it a great option for both morning and evening routines. Before switching to Aveeno, I was a regular user of Clarins Multi-Active Jour. While I did love the glowy effect that Clarins provided, I find that Aveeno Oat Face Cream still does an admirable job in keeping my skin healthy and moisturized. It may not give that instant radiance, but it certainly delivers in terms of hydration and overall skin comfort. Overall, Aveeno Oat Face Cream is a solid choice for those with sensitive skin looking for a reliable and effective moisturizer. It may not offer the same luminosity as some high-end brands, but it excels in providing lasting moisture and soothing care. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a gentle and nourishing addition to their skincare routine.

Aveeno Face Calm+Restore: Oat of This World!
Okay, first off – whoever came up with the idea of a gel moisturiser with oat as the main ingredient deserves a medal. I mean, oats in my breakfast? Yes. Oats on my face? Also YES. I feel like I’m giving my skin a warm, cozy hug every time I use this stuff. It’s like my face just got a spa day, but without the weird cucumber slices and soft jazz music. This moisturiser is seriously magic. My skin is like, "Oh wow, thank you," every time I apply it. It's like a big glass of water for your face. But not just any water – this is premium, high-end oat water that instantly soothes and restores your skin’s moisture barrier, and you can almost hear your skin sighing in relief. I’ve got sensitive skin (because apparently, I’m special like that), but this stuff works wonders. No irritation, no burning, no weird reactions – just calm, hydrated skin that’s ready to face the day (or the couch, no judgment). Plus, it's nourishing without being heavy or greasy, which is basically a unicorn in moisturiser world. It’s the perfect balance – like if a cloud and a pillow made a cream baby. So, if you want soft, calm, and happy skin, I highly recommend giving this a try. My skin’s never been this chill before.

Perfection for dry sensitive skin
I know there are quite a lot of positive reviews here but had to leave mine as well since this is now a repeat purchase and staple both during summer and winter, both day and night! First my skin type: I have dry older skin that I frequently irritate in my quest for eternal youth with too aggressive peels or retinoids. I do often have red peeling zones... While I can't really say this magical cream helps achieve eternal youth it is as close as it gets and manages to restore my skin to its plumpness :) When I first purchased it didn't expect much - I mean how can a gel help dry skin, surely it should be more creamy to moisturize? However from the first try the feeling was amazing! Soaks into skin immediately so no greasiness (good for going to bed at night or putting makeup on daytime) and keep the skin well fed for hours! Truly amazing! It is so thin - gel like, that it works great during summer, and surprisingly works its magic at wintertime as well :) I think the price is more than reasonable. It doesn't have any scent which I really appreciate. To give you an idea what I am comparing it to and find it superior to at this stage of my life, some well known brands I liked are Cerave AM/PM (like), Simple (like), Cosrx (meh), Nivea Q10 (meh), Olay (various), L'oreal (meh), Cetaphil (like but too thick), Neutrogena (meh), Eucerin (meh)... I know that everybody's skin is different, but if you are still searching for your moisturizing holy grail, warmly recommend you try this!

Thought I Found a Winner—But My Face Has Other Plans 😕
I’d been hearing good things about the Aveeno Face CALM + RESTORE Oat Gel Moisturiser, so when it showed up for testing via Amazon Vine, I had high hopes. It ticks a lot of boxes on paper: hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, formulated with prebiotic oats and soothing feverfew. What I liked: • Texture is genuinely light and gel-cream-like—absorbs quickly without feeling heavy. • No strong scent, which is great for someone with sensitive skin. • Packaging says it’s for “sensitive skin” and “normal to dry skin,” which had me thinking it might work for me. What went wrong: • After a few days of using it every morning (and then both morning + evening), I started noticing more breakouts. Tiny bumps, then some red spots. My skin has never been extremely acne-prone, so this was surprising. • The irritations didn’t feel like just one-off; they persisted until I stopped using the product. • Because the marketing emphasised calming and barrier repair, it felt especially disappointing that my skin reacted badly rather than stabilised. Verdict: This might be a fine moisturiser for many people—especially those with dry or sensitive skin who need something lightweight and hydrating. But for me (someone who seems to lean toward breakout-sensitive), it unfortunately caused more harm than help. If you’re acne-prone or worried about potential clogging, I’d proceed with caution: patch-test for at least a week before full-face use. Because despite the “gel” texture and calming ingredients, it didn’t work out for my skin type.
