This is a great invention. Our Collie X loves to roam, just like any other hound, and often pulls on the lead. The 3m length is enough to give him a sense of freedom but still connected for us to remain in control. While the click in the unit also works well as a training tool when giving instruction, as it provides a quality sound reinforcement.It is lightweight and can be handheld or strapped to your wrist / belt, the fact that it is so light benefits the dog too. Don't be fooled that this is a flimsy product it is not; the cord and lead are made from strong nylon and unlike other retractable leads there is very little opportunity to get yourself tangled up in it. The fact that this has an integrated shorter hand held section within the lead enables the handler to hold the dog close by in crowded or specific situation means that you have flexibility of use.This lead would be great for anyone who has problems with their hands as it doesn't have to be handheld and is easy to strap on and release and can be locked to a specific length. It also gives you hands free if you have to carry anything but keep your dog close by.TIP: Before we took him out on it the first time we did try it out in the garden so we got to grips with how it worked which took about 10 minutes.We have had this now for several weeks and it is our lead of preference from all those we have in the arsenal of dog paraphernalia we own.

I love it! It took me and my 21kg Staffie Cross two or three walks to get used to it but that was all and since then we've had no problems. The length of the lead is about two feet shorter than my old extendible lead but the dog has soon got used to that and I had to be very disciplined initially about not grabbing the cable to pull her back as there are several warnings on the info leaflet about the dangers of doing this. However, as I said it has only taken a few walks to get used to this and I have noticed that my dog does behave much better now during walks. If I lift my arm to halt the lead she immediately turns round and begins to walk back towards me which is a real improvement on how she behaved on the extendible lead. I should make it clear that I don't use this lead whilst jogging/cycling. I have to use two walking sticks and so a handsfree lead is essential and this one means my dog can still have a wander and a bit of freedom but I can quickly control her and bring her back to heel if I need to. I'm very happy with the quality and the functioning of this lead and believe it is well worth the extra expense. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to be handsfree.

I wasn't sure about this one after seeing the mixed reviews, but I've gotta say, I'm really thrilled with this hands-free lead. It works exactly as intended and the quality of the product itself is really good. I have a 6-month old Boston Terrier puppy and this works perfectly for her. I also have an adult Boston Terrier, so I can use our regular-style retractable one for him, and the hands-free one for the puppy and still have a hand free! I wish there was the option to buy different lengths of lead for this product, since this may be a bit too short for her once she's full-size (I don't know, we'll have to see just how big she ends up), but for now at least, and for anyone else with a dog under 5kg especially, I can't recommend this product enough.

I love this lead, I suffer with osteo arthritis in my hands and was having trouble gripping a flexi lead, this is a great lead, hands free so no strain on my hands. Have to say I have taken the bit out you fasten the lead to as couldn't get on with it but it works for me. And given the fact this was on offer i am extremely happy!

Bad buy. Waste of money. Too large for my wrist so not secure. Even if I try further up my arm it is still a bit large and if the dog pulls hard there s not enough Velcro to keep secure so it falls off.There is no locking mechanism so if you do not hold the short part of the lead you have no control over how much lead your dog has.The extending lead like a lot of extending leads is the really narrow finger cutting type. Given that there is no locking mechanism you'll regret it. Some extending leads have a slim lead, this one would be better if it was like that as you may have to try and pull your dog back.

This is only good for people with small dogs that don't pull or like to sniff everything. This product is not good for anybody with a medium or large dog. if your dog pulls in the slightest all this will do is pull your wrist. Not worth the money.

This is a great quality product. I just received it but Upton inspection it's light and very comfortable to wear on your wrist. I'm looking forward to wearing it. Hoping it's a great alternative to holding my Kong retractable lead.I'm hoping to use this for running with my dog eventually. I'm excited to get some proper use out of it. Will be attaching it to my running belt for true hands free usage. Excited to try this out.Don't hesitate please buy this amazing bit of kit.

Lost the plastic insert to this whilst on a dog walk so I can no longer use this product. Very frustratingly it did not clip into the wristband part of this product when it was not locked into position by wrapping the lead cord around it so it fell out and I did not notice until the end of the dog walk! Rubbish!

Finalmente ho ritrovato questo articolo che per noi è irrinunciabile. Tre metri, frizione di sicurezza, mani libere. Mi permette di gestire le passeggiate con la mia piccola canetta senza problemi riuscendo a fare tutto avendola legata al polso. Consiglio per cani di piccola taglia

I am a 5'1", 94 pound senior woman and I love this lead. It fits around my wrist just fine and love the fact I don't have to carry a leash. Knowing I can grab the short extension to keep my dog close at hand is enough for me. My dog is off-leash trained, so he doesn't pull when I have to have a lead on him, but even if he should tug at it, I am not uncomfortable.

La he comprado para andar con bastones, la verdad es mejor de lo que esperaba, funciona muy bien y el tamaño es muy cómodo.

Perfekt! Habe die Leine eigentlich für meinen 8 kg Havaneser gekauft, aber der geht brav Fuß. Jetzt geht der 30 kg Huskymix an dieser Leine und ich bin begeistert. Der Jungspund hat nämlich schon eine Flexileine abgerissen beim durchstarten, da war alles hin. Der Stoppmechanismus bei der Lishniu ist allerdings so ausgeklügelt, dass er früher und von alleine stoppt. Ohne das mein Handgelenk auskugelt😀. Zum Kurzführen ist die Lasche vor dem Seil perfekt. Ich bin restlos begeistert und empfehle diese Leine gerne weiter. Lieferung und Preis war auch super!
