The dinosaur that started it all.
This was the very first dinosaur my 4-year-old received, and it quickly became his absolute favourite. Since then, we’ve expanded into a whole herd of prehistoric creatures, but this one still holds a special place in his heart (and under his pillow, apparently). It’s well made, solid without being heavy, and — very importantly — has no sharp edges, which makes it perfect for younger kids. The movable mouth is a brilliant touch and was a major hit. It adds just enough interactive fun without needing batteries or tech. After months of play, it’s still going strong. The detailing is great, the finish is sturdy, and the “RAWR!” sound effects supplied by my son remain endless. If you’re starting a dino collection or just need a single toy to bring a lot of excitement, this is a brilliant pick. Highly recommend from one very happy 4-year-old (and his equally tired but pleased mum).

Excellent quality and detail
For the low price of £7, I wasn't expecting much from this toy. But it turned out to be far better than I expected in every way. It was bigger than I thought and stands at 14cm tall by 31cm long. Seems to be made from a very hard-wearing, solid plastic with a soft but firm, rubber-like finish. I don't know how accurate it is in terms of colouring and proportions, but the paint job and meticulous details are very impressive. And the moving jaw is a bonus. Very pleased with this overall.

Looks nice, I suppose, detailed enough, the kid loves it. The good thing is it's not as expensive as Jurassic world ones
