SPARES2GO Carbon Filter for Elica ERA-STD-80 ERA GR ELITE 14 LUX GRIX/A/60 Cooker Hood Extractor (Pack of 2)

Bought these to protect the motor from getting fouled even though the extractor is vented out. It also neutralises the smells.

I bought a spare filter 2 days ago, and from the time we held the package something seemed wrong. It was rattling a lot and when we opened the package we could see the pieces of charcoal all over. The felt holding the charcoal bits was open and the filter was unusable, so I ordered another and when I opened the box it was exactly the same. The first photo shows the first filter with the charcoal bits outside. The second one has the original filter still intact and the second filter I bought damaged and still in the plastic.

Poor quality product. Elements that were supposed to be glued together to prevent carbon pellets from escaping are not sealing properly. I likely affects the whole batch.

Needed the carbon filters for new extractor so could recycle rather than direct flue outlet Everything looked compatible but when it come to fit not sure if plastic lugs were damaged or poorly made or I had knocked them but filter fitted in lots ways but would not stay on. So went to various videos in case I'd done something wrong but after hours of watching & redoing, done everything correct. Could been the lugs, secured it in another way and fine for now too late send back time I messed about but will go to manufacture of extractor for genuine part.

Second time I've ordered and carbon has leaked out again. Not fit for purpose

Don't buy, comes damage (I ordered twice now...)
