Saxmute Clarinet Mute for B Flat Clarinet

I don't normally get round to writing reviews of stuff I buy on Amazon, but this product is one that I feel warrants a word of description.It is very expensive, and it took me a while to weigh up the cost versus the relative need.So, what I have is some small bits of special textured plastic on thin sticks. One piece goes in at the mouth piece, and the other two bits (which you have to assemble yourself) goes in the bell of the clarinet. And it works! Yes you are not silent, but you are playing an instrument, so that is not relevant. I do however feel that I can practice without having to worry about my neighbours being able to hear my scales etc. You will not get a great sound on the high notes, but again...this is for practising, and not for performing. Please, lower the price, and I would give this product 5 stars.
