I bought this pack of 100 heat-shrink butt connectors for some wiring projects, and they’ve been spot on. The heat shrink tubing is thick, shrinks evenly, and grips tightly around the wire for a really solid waterproof seal. Once shrunk, the adhesive inside melts perfectly and gives you full confidence the connection won’t pull apart. The metal barrels are decent quality too — they crimp cleanly without deforming or tearing, and they hold the wire firmly. Colour-coded sizing makes it easy to grab the right one quickly, which is great when you’re working on a car, FPV build, or general electrical jobs. I’ve used dozens already and haven’t had a single failure. For the price, getting 100 pieces is great value, and the quality is better than a lot of the cheaper connector kits I’ve tried before. If you need reliable, weather-resistant connections, these heat-shrink butt connectors do the job perfectly. Highly recommended!

I ordered these because the crimp is two parts, one part crimps onto the conductor, the second part crimps onto the insulator. This helps prevent a fatigue failure caused by the cable vibrating and fatiguing the conductor. A lot of ring terminals only crimp the conductor which is obviously vulnerable to that kind of failure. The main use I have for these is grounds, and a lot of auto electrical faults are caused by bad grounds so the fact that these are sizes for an array of different fastener sizes is also useful and again helps with making a reliable connection.

They do the job, not overly expensive.

Not very good quality. The wire kept coming out of the connector.

Not ferromagnetic, ideal for HiFi. Agree not very thick material but is just right for my application. Replaced some terminals from audio connectors that are otherwise made from brass or copper, just the included terminals were ferromagnetic. Excellent value for money.

Recently purchased direct a oair of brass wall lights, however, being metal I found there was no earth cable attachment thus they did not comply with safety electrical earthing requirements. Allows for an earth cable to be attached to metalwork. I found these parts on Amazon, and thet worked perfectly. I'll be giving a poor reference for the wall lights.
