Pelikan Twist Fountain Pen - Fresh Ocean

I love it, such a different feeling to write. Improves speed, fluidity, sits well in the hand. Great price value and nice design.

Once I had worked out how to pull the lid off, I was up and away with my writing. This pen is quirky and takes a little getting used to the feel in your hand but it soon seems as though it is just a part of you. The ink flows well and the nib is smooth across the paper and enables you just to move effortlessly one word after another. Brilliant. Thank you for a lovely pen at such a good price.

Undoubtedly, the most striking feature of this pen is the 'twist' design. Not only visually interesting, this feature prevents the pen rolling from the desk. The pen wrote impeccably first time with a smooth but sturdy feel. Fits nicely in the hand, though the cap does not 'post'. It accepts normal cartridges, so no worries there. The universal grip feature is handy to ensure correct position is maintained. The only slight drawbacks were the rather utilitarian packaging, perhaps to be expected on an entry-level pen and one edge where the silver finish just missed the seem. Still, for the price it is a pleasing and solid product!

A slightly different league to my other fountain pens, but it writes very nicely. Decided to buy one as it looked different, and it's made by a brilliant company who makes delightful pens in their higher ranges. This pen is great for everyday use, and at a price that if it got lost you'd not worry too much.

I purchased this for my daughter who prefers to write with a fountain pen but has some difficulty with more conventional pens where she holds them too close to the nib and becomes smothered in ink as a result. The shape of this pen is extremely comfortable and teaches good positioning for the fingers when using a liquid ink pen. The ink flow is excellent and the pen rarely skips or blots. Overall, this has been one of the better pen purchases I have made.

The silver Pelican pen is not in stock. Once you have ordered you will be contacted by a friendly worker who will push the other colours while you have already waited for your silver pen. I chose another pen as i needed one. But probably better to buy from another supplier or in a shop.
