Ordered this cooktop because my Moms stove broke. She doesn’t cook much and only needed 2 burners. This works great! Very happy with purchase. One note, you can’t use 2 large pots at once, not much room between burners.

I bought this as an alternative to an aluminum top one that have had for about a month (but after a couple uses looks like it is years old). This is much easier to clean so it looks like new each time, and has a sleeker, more modern appearance. Works great and is easier to adjust the heat settings than one with touch screens/touch buttons. Highly recommend as the price is also very affordable.

I’ve been using this ceramic hob for a while now and I’m pretty happy with it. I find that the unit heats quickly and responds quickly when I want to change the temperature. It fits relatively large cookware than you may expect looking at the pictures. The touch controls are simple — just tap up or down to set the heat — and there’s even a lock button which is handy if you’ve got kids around. The surface looks sleek, wipes clean easily, and doesn’t scratch easily either. The main thing to know is that this isn’t really designed to be used as a portable hot plate. It’s meant to be built into a worktop, and it doesn’t come with any little feet to lift it off the counter. If you just plonk it down as-is, the metal base rests directly on the surface which could leave marks. Ideally, it should be fitted properly, and the instructions do recommend getting an electrician if you’re installing it permanently. That said, it’s been really handy as an extra burner. I even used it at Christmas to keep the gravy hot — much easier than reheating in the microwave — and it’s also great for student flats or smaller kitchens if you’ve got the right setup. Overall, a really solid hob: simple, good quality, and does its job well. Just keep in mind it’s best suited for being built in rather than used as a standalone.

Jessier Plug in Ceramic Hob I must admit that when I ordered this I mistakenly thought it was a stand-alone hob which would sit on our worktop, but no, it has to be installed into a worktop. There is just a single ring on the hob so this might be a good option for adding an extra ring to an existing hob setup. In the box you receive the hob, along with a fixing kit, scraper and instructions. The hob arrives pre wired with a chunky looking cable, there is a 3 pin plug fitted to the cable so there will be no wiring necessary, although the cable is quite short. A hole will need to be cut in your worktop to accommodate this, which seems to be a lot of work for just a single hob, plus you will also need a power socket nearby. A scraper is included in the box, I'm not sure what that's for as the top of this hob is ceramic which would scratch easily if a scraper were to be used. I'm not so sure my cooking is so bad that I would need a scraper? In operation this is pretty simple to use. You can select the smaller 1000 watt ring, or the 2200 watt ring for larger pans. There is a single touch button to switch the power on, you can cycle through 9 different heat settings via the + and - buttons, another button selects the pan size. If you wish you can lock the controls from accidental use by children, only the power function will then be working. I did find this a little slow to heat up as I'm more used to gas and induction, but the 9 heat levels I would find useful as induction is a little erratic where heat control is concerned. Overall though, this appears well made, is simple to operate and works well enough. I like that the display flashes H for hot, to warn you to keep your hands away from it. it’s so easy to control, very quiet and not loud, does its job perfectly, so easy to use, so easy to clean and the heat output is actually surprisingly high, so cheap and controllability is perfect

I loved it, it's small but perfect for the little use I give it every day, it doesn't take up much space which is a plus if your kitchen is small.
