Excellent quality headlamp
Let me start from saying that this headlamp is super functional! It has two different sides of light options. One is blue and red (not sure what’s the use of it), and another one is white in different variations. The white light also has couple buttons to change the brightness of it and the type of light you want to use. For example, flash slowly, or super fast. The headlamp is beyond bright! You can see everything outside and around yourself at night! The band is very comfortable. You can adjust it without any issues or effort. Pretty stretchy too. The lamp is charging quickly and holding the battery good. (Comes with 3 big fat batteries). Worth the money. I recommend it.

Exceptional headlamp!
I wanted to use this product for a while to give an accurate review... The brightness of the "bright" setting is outstanding! Then you have other settings that will give varying degrees of brightness allowing you to choose what you need. I haven't had a need (thankfully) for the strobe light or the SOS feature, but they do work! I do have two complaints, which will explain why I gave this 4 stars - (1) I wish these had a red light feature! (2) The charge doesn't last as long after having to recharge the batteries,, and each time you recharge the "lifespan" of a bright light gets shorter and shorter. But all in all, this was a very good purchase and I will be buying these again,,, hopefully with a red light upgrade! Update! Let me start by saying - I've had this headlamp for almost a year now,,, so I'm showing the headlamp to a friend of mine just a few minutes ago,, turning it on and showing how the motion sensor worked,, and all at once, as I'm clicking through the different light features, the bottom light turned on a red light! Now, it IS the bottom light that has it, so it's not as bright as the main light,, but hopefully it will be bright enough! I'll update again to let you know after I use it this spring/summer! Anyway,, changed my rating to 5 stars!

Great product
I use this walk my dogs at night and it is overkill in its brightness for that purpose, but it's insanely bright and I can spotlight a deer from 1/4mile away. It has a low brightness LED cluster that is more appropriate for dog walking at night. I charged the battery 3 weeks ago and I am still at 100% charge level. Good quality, good price and comfortable with even weight balance. Very happy with this purchase.

Absolutely stunning
"Its just a headlamp. They always over state the brightness" Not this time Dexter WOW. This could be a very long post because of the different, well engineered features. 1) Turn it on. To focus the beam you pull away from your forehead INSTEAD OF twisting the lens. I like this A LOT better. 2) Brightness: I have a tree line about 400 ft from the back of the house. When I pull the focus away from my forehead I get a beam like I've never seen before. It lights up the tree line to the point where I could shoot anything there. Easily. 3) USB: You can charge it through one port, you can use it as a power bank from another port (in case your phone dies in the wilderness) VERY NICE. 4) Power button: I have hated the constant clicking to turn off a head lamp. Somehow they programmed it to know that it has been on for some number of seconds and you get ONE CLICK OFF. If you hunt. . . anything. . . then this is for you. Otherwise you click through the modes to get the one you want. I highly recommend this purchase. I'm going to buy a second as a backup. 5) they have other features I probably won't use, like the motion activation, and the safety lights BLUE as well as red. Just more goodness from these engineers.

Pretty good.
Works great very bright. But it doesn’t fit over a hard hat. That’s my only complaint. If it did fit it would be 5 stars easy.

It works great for doing short tasks.
I feel bad for all the bad ratings this head light has. The problem with these high powered lights is that they are not made for casual use and should not be worn or used for long periods of time. They simply go beyond their comfort zone fast due to the ultra high capacity. I use mine for everything to fixing computer to looking at the neighbors' yards over a hundred yards away. This light fit perfect on top of my leather baseball hat and work like a miner's light or adjusts into a fine thin laser-like beam that is just too bright to describe. It can be very useful for self defense at day or night. This is my favorite light of a large collection of tactical lights. If you need plenty of light to do tasks or tactical use, then this is the one you want to buy. If you want a hat light for trail hiking at night, then buy a Maglite and carry this light for when you need a lot of powerful light or use the low-level light setting on this light. I only use mine when it is needed for something important as these high output lights just are not that reliable when used at full capacity until they dim. I have three Maglite AAA double battery clip on lights for my leather baseball hat and carry 8 spare AAA batteries when I go hiking. I use this hat light for exploring caves so I can see everything perfectly when it is important.

Junk with zero directions
Okay so this big bulky piece of crap came today. I put the batteries in the giant box that goes on the back of your head and it turns on but the light does not turn on. There's zero directions, not even a diagram of the things that this piece of crap is supposed to do. It comes apart in like 20 different ways and that must be for some purpose, but who knows because there's no directions. Even online they can't even tell you where the headlight power button is. We've searched every inch of this piece of crap and there's no additional power source for the light. It just doesn't work. What's worse than getting a broken product with no directions is that Amazon won't let you simply put this piece of crap in the mailbox to return it. Oh no. You have to have access to a UPS drop off. Why? Every American has access to USPS. Why make people be specifically inconvenienced like this? The closest drop off for UPS is like 20 miles away. It's not even worth the gas money to make this return and that's probably why Amazon inconveniences it's customers this way because they know fewer people are going to be able to comply with their return directions of UPS. So I guess I'm stuck with this garbage unless I pay someone $8 to come pick it up because Amazon won't give its customers a USPS label which would be free for everyone. I think I'm calling Amazon about this one. I don't feel like I should lose any money from this broken product nor should I have to take half a day off work to drive a 40 mile round trip to take this to some UPS place. Just don't buy this garbage. Get a well-known brand. It's not worth it
