My initial review is below this new review. I have now changed my opinion since writing my first review. I used this product three times and the fourth time it don't work anymore. Today honest it wasn't very powerful either. The cable comes out and retracts very slowly and the remote is kind of finicky! This is a great concept but don't buy this one it's a waste of money and time! You would be better off just by flushing your money down the toilet. At least that would be more fun you would get to watch it swirl around in the toilet bowl before it disappears. This review is my old review and I do not feel this way anymore!When I bought this I was a little skeptical at first. But after using it I'm going to buy another one! I really like the remote feature it is super handy! The only downside about this product is there is a bit of a lag as to win the hoist stops turning after you've let off the button. But that just takes some getting used to and learning how to use it.

Almost as hard to lift as the intended load. Probably great for something you can't lift by hand, but it's a down-rated version of a full size hoist. Ours never made it out of the box

Beammova 110 v. portable hoist is just does everything you throw at it...! Pulls, lift and drags anything. It could be with you everywhere has extra pairs of hands...Love the overall concept, three ways to turn on/off, specially the remote control and the extended on/off cord switch. Lame instructions , No parts and no warranty info ! But, all came in one piece.

Update: I bought a second winch for another barn. In this one, the motor sounds a little sketchier in that it is inconsistent in speed without even a load attached. So we'll see what happens. This second one did NOT include the wireless remote battery like the first one. It is a 23A battery. Luckily I had some here, but if you don't, you might want to have these on hand if you purchase this, as the wireless remote will be worthless without one. Initial review: The first thing I usually do with new products is to plug them in and make sure they works BEFORE I go to the trouble of mounting/installing them. I have had products fail right out of the box and this saves a lot of time. This product did indeed work out of the box. This winch seems to operate o.k. It comes with what appears to be some good solid hooks at each end and a decent case. The operational controls are good but should be labeled "In" and "out" or "up" and down" to avoid misdirection of the load. The electric motor seems fairly strong. If you plan on using this winch outside for projects just remember this is a 115 volt AC motor NOT a 12volt DC motor. So, don't try to run it off of your car battery. Pros: Easy and fast to set up Good solid hooks Your choice of remote control "Wired" or "Wireless" Good long remote cord. Cons: Short power cord (about 3 foot) Motor is loud The gloves that come with it are a joke and not worth using. The wireless remote needs at least a loop for a lanyard as this controller can be easily misplaced.

First time I used it I lifted 900 lb. for 10 ft., By the time the load got to the top smoke was coming out of the side and it quit working.

I needed a way to more easily open and close the rear patio door on my toyhauler RV. Works exceptionally well for me from inside the RV garage.
