1 French Black Chocolate Rock Suchard 7 Pieces 245 Gram

I last tried one of these over 30 years ago in France so I was delighted when I found them on Amazon. It was a nostalgic experience. The chocolate is dense, dark and smooth but not too bitter. The rich chocolate with tiny hazelnuts are a real treat and very filling. Just one chocolate is more than sufficient. £12 buys 7 chocolates so they are a decadent treat but absolutely worth it.

I used to love these, decadent chocolate with a nutty bite, BUT I agree with another reviewer that these are far to sweet. What’s gone wrong? I thought my teeth would melt with the excess sugary-ness....yuk

I have always loved Rochers Suchard ever since I was a little girl. They are quite pricey but since I live in Scotland I think it is not bad. They are anyway very pricey in stores in France so Amazon is having a great deal.

i was rather disappointed with this purchase. These chocolates were well past their best.

A real chocolate treat

Delicious! Not overly sweet either. Just right.

I always used to have to stock up on these on French holidays, so glad to see them on here. Yes they're pricey but as the saying goes "worth it". Lovely bittersweet dark choc casing with strong truffley ganache inside. You won't regret it if you're a dark choc fan

I've been dreaming of these since I was last in France. Way less expensive than another trip over there. Crisp, dark coating with a melt in the mouth interior that tastes more like ganache than praline. And they are huge. Many thanks guys, if I don't pile on the pounds I shall be ordering regularly! Pure Heaven for chocoholics like I.

I love Suchard Rochers. Disclaimer: I grew up with this and it was definitely the special treat. Biting into this stuff is a bite into my childhood. I get some people would find it sweet since it has some sugary crunchy pieces but the chocolate is so rich. The perfect crunch when you bite into it then the rich filling. It is not easy to get even in France so it is extra nice to find it on Amazon. My only regret is that I shared the package with my husband :) Oh yes: came on time, well packaged and very flavorful.

Avec le confinement, difficile d'aller dans des magasins habituels. Merci pour nous permettre de continuer à nous régaler, même si ces rochers bien emballés & reçus rapidement, ont toujours un goût de trop petit ;-).

Diese "Riesenpraline " ist ganz lecker. Darf aber nicht aus dem Kühlschrank kommen,da man diese sonst mit dem Messen schneiden muß. Also nur kühl und nicht kalt lagern. 1 Sück reicht vollkommen aus um Schokolade zu genießen.j

I love French chocolate due to its refined taste and rich flavor. However this chocolate is so sweet that me and my wife could not eat it. Since all the chocolates I tasted during my numerous trips to France were excellent, my guess for this strange phenomena would be that it was specifically manufactured for marketing in the United States. Most people in this country love their candies and pastry to be extremely sweet. I, being a European-American, cannot find this palatable. On the other hand, if you are one of those who love their candy to be extremely sweet, you might as well ignore my review and enjoy this chocolate while not showing any mercy to your pancreas...
