Used every day
I don't see any reason to give these scales anything less than 5 stars. Easy to use, timer and tare function included, rechargeable, good build quality, accurate to 0.1g as i use them and are a decent price. I use them every day and have had no problems.

Perfect for Coffee Lovers—Accurate, Stylish, and Easy to Use
The BAGAIL Digital Coffee Scale with Timer has completely upgraded my coffee routine. If you’re even a little serious about making good pour-over coffee, this scale is a game changer. The precision is excellent—measuring down to 0.1g makes dialing in my brewing ratio incredibly easy. The built-in timer is super convenient, so I don’t need a separate device while brewing. I love the large, bright display and the touch-sensor buttons, which feel responsive and modern. The auto-tare function works flawlessly, and switching between modes is seamless. Another huge bonus is that it’s rechargeable—no more scrambling for batteries. The battery life has been great so far, and the scale feels sturdy without being bulky. It handles up to 3kg, so it’s versatile enough to use for baking and general cooking too. Overall, this scale delivers fantastic accuracy, smart features, and a clean, minimalist look. Highly recommended for anyone who wants more control over their coffee or just needs a reliable, precise kitchen scale!

Really good value
I've now had these scales for just over 3 months. It's taken this long to write a review because I wanted to use the recharge point as my trigger. There are quite a few reviews here of people complaining about battery life, I've got no idea what they're doing with the scales, but they can't be doing it right. I pull 1-2 double espresso shots a day, I weigh my beans, then I way the shot as I pull it, and it's taken just over 3 months for the low battery light to start flashing. Pretty impressive in my book. The scales are responsive, easy to clean, full of functionality, easy to use and look great. It would be nice if they responded a bit faster, but you're here because you don't want to pay upwards of £80 for some coffee scales. Great value if you can get them on deal. I paid around £18 at the end of August 2025.

For coffee, I'm trying not to like it to justify a Timemore scale. But I can't.
It's fairly deep. So not for everyone. Under my Bambino it's fine. Even with a deep cup and not my vacuum style cup. Two tone clear display. Auto pour function that seems to work well. If finicky because it will only stop timing once you remove the vessel. Think I'd switch to manual as easier to control. Seems accurate from its point of view don't have another brand to compare. 0.1 gm is being picked up so finally can dose coffee accurately. Battery life seems very good. Negative is that usb c charging port is not covered so would it in long term be affected by possible moisture? Also it's on the right side near back. It'. On the side where most of your workflow would be but in turn if you were worried it's on the side where you could most easily keep an eye on it. Good that it then comes with long enough cable. I recommend.

We like(d) these scales a lot- but they’re now in the BIN over their battery-life: sad huh?
We liked these scales a lot and they’re dead-simple to use. Their only and minor annoyance (so far!) is that the battery-LO light allows for so VERY little time before the whole thing goes dead - it gives only a few seconds notice. This means that the LO warning can come on half-way through a brew/pour and then the whole thing shuts down a few seconds later - and well before its timing-job is done. Annoying, huh? Bagail suggest that, used for 10 mins a day, a charge should last for about 30 days=300 minutes. Our approx 10 mins a day (only 2-3 big cups at breakfast and then carefully switched off) lasts for about 10 days=100 minutes ... if we're lucky. And then on comes the 'LO' battery-warning and, a few seconds later, total shut-down halfway through a brew! But good nonetheless and GREAT at its price. PS1. 3 weeks after I wrote the above we're now down to 8 days of charge used for the same 10 mins a day and only about 5 seconds if we're lucky between 'LO' and dead! The minor annoyance is getting major! PS2. 4 months after purchase and still used for the same approx. 10 minutes a day, this OTHERWISE-EXCELLENT scale is now down to holding its charge for approx 3 days … so for 30 minutes as against Bagail’s claimed 300 minutes! So presumably it will be down to DEAD quite soon … and so into the bin and we’ll have to try and find something more reliable. A pity ‘cos it’s GREAT while it works. But its boring battery issues have made us go down to 2 stars, no doubt out of annoyance! But maybe it should be less, maybe even only 1 star? (If Bagail can get their whole scale so VERY well worked-out, why can't they solve silly little things like the battery?! Or is ours just a rogue 'Friday-afternoon' one?) The battery-charge now lasting ONE BREAKFAST if we’re lucky, it’s now gone IN THE BIN. A pity ‘cos it was good while it lasted!

Just as good as timemore
The item is really good quality and would definitely recommend, I cannot see the point in paying any more for a timemore scale when this can do exactly the same thing.

Close to being excellent, but a few major cons.
These are close to being excellent but with a few major cons. The auto timer stops when you finish pouring, so when making V60 for example the timer isn't useful as it stops after the bloom etc. the manual operation works well but the touchscreen buttons are a bit hit or miss and this can be frustrating when trying to time and espresso shot as you might not get the timer going on the first 2 presses which might account for a decent proportion of the shot time. The last gripe is that they cannot be used whilst being charged. I'd spend a bit more for something that doesn't have these issues, but definitely a good set of scales if these things aren't a problem for you.

I bought this scale to dial in my espresso, and it’s been great. It’s super quick to react, the timer is clear and easy to use, and the 0.1g accuracy actually feels accurate when I’m pulling shots. The silicone pad keeps everything stable. I’ve used it every day since getting it, and it hasn’t glitched or lagged once.

Great little scale. Nearly perfect, however, the timer only count up, not down, so I'm going to have to change the way I bake a little when using this for what I bought it for. Other than that, its exactly what was described, usb C rechargable with a decent charging cable. Definately perfect for coffee brewing which I do as well, but not an ideal setup for making pizza and foccaccia with the way the timer works.
