Awesome product at an affordable price. The pump is not whisper quiet but it’s not super loud. I was able to get 30in of vacuum on my fridge Freon loop after I replaced the faulty compressor. The additional input port on the yellow hose near the gauges allowed me to install a standard quick connect adapter found on most cars. This allowed me to recharge without disconnecting any hoses therefore eliminating any amount of air from entering the system!!! Really important on a refrigerator. The pump worked continuously for 1hour, it did get warm/hot but never stopped working. I’ll be using this to finally fix the AC on an old dodge as well 👌

2005 F150 had valve cores leaking. The seals had gotten brittle and shrink over time. Used this vacuum pump kit to vacuum the system after replacing cores. Pump and gauges worked well. Only issue I had is the kit does not come with the valve for self sealing cans. I ended up damaged one of my first refrigerant cans. Had to get a separate adapter not in the kit for the new self sealing cans. AC blows cooled again, saved hundreds.

I bought this item to do ac system on my jeep but upon filling with freon there was a leak on the center glass on the guagues and on the high side charging line had to disassemble and replace seal. Got job done but still has leak. Compressor works great and is a complete kit, guess I was unlucky.

I bought this set not having done any HVAC work before. I followed instructions I found on U-Tube and was able to vacuum out the lines of my two mini split units. I saved myself over $600 as I was quoted over $300 to leak test and vacuum out each unit. Two critical things to pay attention to:. unscrew the little tab out of the connector that pushes the shrader valve nipple open. If not, you will only create a vacuum in the flexible hose and not the copper tube and you may falsely assume that your copper lines are empty and release the refrigerant into the system only to have air and moisture contaminate your system. The other thing is that when there is much air being evacuated, oil fumes will be discharged. Don't be alarmed, it will clear up once a vacuum is created. If after a while the oil fumes continue to come out, you may have an bad air leak somewhere in your system.

Very nice kit for a diy person. I just wish there was a little QR code with a video on how to set the gages up and how to fill the vacuum pump with oil. I knew what to do but everyone might not

Love this pump. Comes with a very nice carrying case that fits the pump, hoses, and manifold gauge. Used it on my car, and the fittings are perfect for putting a vacuum on your system before recharging. Used manifold gauge to recharge my AC as well. Must purchase the whole kit, not just the pump; but it takes the guess work out of having to purchase extra fittings because the kit is made to work right out of the box. The local dealership was going to charge me $350 to recharge my AC. Kit cost less than half, and if I ever need to do AC work, I can do it myself. Kit comes with oil that you have to add through the exhaust port yourself. Just follow the instructions, it’s very easy. Excellent product and great quality.

I'm an avid DIYer so when my truck's AC compressor failed, I wanted to tackle it myself so I bought this gauge and vacuum pump set. Be sure to fill the pump's oil before using (included, along with instructions). After replacing all of the mechanical parts (you've got to replace the condensor, receiver/drier, and orifice tube too, after flushing the lines) I hooked everything up, the gauges worked as expected, and it pulled a solid vacuum. The only snag was the freon can tap - it must have had an intenal defect because it wouldn't allow freon to flow from the can. Luckily I had a cheapo tap/gauge combo from the box store and was able add freon and finish the job. I emailed the company via Amazon explaining what happened and they responded early the second business day, stating that they had already shipped a new tap, and they also refunded my $5 for the wasted can of freon. Things happen and sometimes parts fail, so it's great to see a company stand behind their product and do the right thing. You can't go wrong with this kit!

Waited for this patiently in order to finish an automotive repair. Was excited to open it and start using it. Unfortunately the company included 2 low pressure quick disconnect fittings and did not include the high side quick disconnect fitting. Unable to perform a job because of this. Time is money, now I have to wait for a replacement. Called the company and was told I would receive a confirmation email and I have not received it. Ended up ordering a set of quick disconnect connectors for 13.99 from Amazon. Severely disappointed Update / the company ended up sending me a replacement. That was nice, but unfortunately I had to buy the others in order to get the job done. Vacuum pump locked up and would not turn on after only using it for 2 minutes. The company wanted me to send the old one back and they would send me a replacement. Sorry that's not going to work, I bought this unit so I could use it. You need to send me the parts that are not working properly and than I will send the old one back to you. Even if it works intermittently I need to have it on me. I have not sent back my old set, have a feeling I pretty much just wasted money. My suggestion would be to stay away from this company. Buy a yellow jacket gauge manifold set, buy a vacuum pump from a reputable manufacturer. You get what you pay for and in my case, essentially just wasted money. Not a happy customer with this product at all. They had a chance to make me a believer and they let it slip. I didn't mention that also one of my gauges is reading exactly 100 psi less than a reputable gauge. Very disappointed.

Bought this kit because I could not get a plumber to come out the the acreage and commission my slit phase A/C Unit. Does the job very well. Good quality guage set and pump for my needs and pretty much exactly as described. Do not hesitate to purchase this kit...it's great. Don't forget to get the 1/4" adapter mentioned in other reviews to be able to use it on the heat pump valves. Thank you to the other reviewers that made this clear to me when I bought mine. Only plumber that called back wanted $3,000....this pump kit was a lot less lol. Lots of video's on the interweb of how to do this as well....Enjoy.

Works perfect for the job . I used it to put the ac in vacuum and evacuate moisture from the system . Also used it to add ac to system The gauges and fitting works well . Thanks also for sending oil for the Vacuum pump . The price was affordable also . In my country it get real cold for several month . So most ac system sits for an average of 7 month Most issues with ac here is mainly leaks from shwader valves . So am in business .
