Never, they don't work. They never dissolved.

How often should you use these and whats the correct way

Every day and place in the filter to dissolve with out having bits of it moving around in the tank witch looks bad but by putting it behind the filter cartridge it will release co2 gradually til its dissolved and its just how I did it and it worked great
