My kids both needed a little more in the economics explanation department and this is doing the trick. I’m also learning some too. Much more fun than it seems.

It was a wonderful shopping experience, miles away, and the books were in good condition

Overall, it is a very well-put-together book. I give it four stars because of a mistake on page 25. The Persian word for market is Bazaar. The Arabic word for market is šūqā. A simple Google search would have helped prevent confusing the two languages.

10 year old loved the book

I found this book at the library. I'm not interested in economics, but I am a fan of educational comics, so I decided to check it out. Like I said, I have no interest in economics. Every time I've attempted to learn more about the financial side of life, by reading books or listening to lecture, it put me to sleep. This book hasn't bored me to tears, because the illustrations really help clarify ideas. As an adult, I've even learned some things reading the book. So in conclusion: great book and I wish there were more educational comics as the format really helps delivering boring information in a fun way.

I bought this book in hopes of being able to simplify and break down what economy is for my kids. I skimmed through it as soon as it arrived and it already seems like it will be very helpful. The colorful pictures and the way everything is broken down looks promising. Can’t wait to dive in with the kids.

Came the same day I ordered it. The book is in mint condition. I have just browsed on some pages and from the looks of it, kids will easily get a grasp of what the book is about.

Great purchase

My 10 year old son loves it. He now knows about supply, demand, market place, Adam Smith and more! We know it's hard to feed veggies to kids. This book is like disguising economics to be fun.

Dear Usborne, This was one of the first Usborne books I have purchased. I was so fascinated by this book - the information, the colorful graphics - everything. This led me to buy another one of your books. And from that moment on I kept on buying more books. Book after book after book. Each one was packed full of interesting topics. As of February 2025, I have around 30 Usborne books, most of them being the ‘100 things to know’ and the ‘for beginners’ series. Your books have filled my mind with useful and abundant information, and I love how you incorporate some fun and color into them, which is perfect for children like me and others to be encouraged to keep reading.
