Works for heavier phones; unplugged
I was a bit skeptical buying this when I read the reviews saying it doesn't work for heavier phones(like the iPhone 13 pro, which I have), but it does work. I have had this thing for roughly a month so I can say that with confidence. I think most of these people saying it doesn't work are trying to make this thing swing like crazy, and of course if you do that it will not work the way you want it to for heavier phones. I personally have this thing unplugged, and I strap my phone in overnight before I go to bed and let it do its thing. It swings in a way that it doesn't make much sound, a fan/AC unit will block the minimal noise it makes. I have never tried to plug this thing in and haven't had the need to. When I wake up I get roughly 45-60km worth of "walking". I believe the game stops you from earning candy after 300km/week, so I don't see why people are wanting this thing to go at the speed of light when the game are stops you from getting candy at a certain point anyway. I personally got this to power up my hundo shadow rhyperior, and was able to get 150 XL candy in like 2 1/2 weeks to finally max it out. I am very satisfied with this result, and I am working on maxing out a dragonite now. If you are currently not trying to get hundreds of XL legendary candy and trying to max out pokemon that require 1-5km for candy, I highly recommend this item. If you are trying to get legendary candy(like I will, eventually) then we will need to reevaluate things for people that have heavy phones. But for the time being this thing works perfectly for me.

It really only works if you manually push it or fix the flaws
I bought this phone swing a year ago. It worked extremely well for about a month. The bearings on each side quickly wore down and both arms stretched out which makes it drag and stop constantly. I've tried many things to make it work, including using a small paper clip to hold the bearings up. I'm finally giving in and on the hunt for a new one. I can force close the app and shake my phone to go 3km in 30 minutes, where using this for 3+ hours barely gets 1/2 km. I can get a little more speed by placing it on a book with something underneath to create a slant, but it still ends up dragging every couple of minutes because the arms are too stretched and the bearings drop. I have to sit and fling it with my finger, and it still takes forever on distance. The wiring in the charger started shorting out after about 2 months as well. I bought this one to avoid paying so much for batteries, but I have to rig the wire higher than the swing and now it will only work plugged in WITH batteries. I don't use it enough to care about finding another, but my illness has gotten worse lately and it helps for times like this.

Works Great; Mod Needed for Heavy Phones
This works great! But there are tricks you need to know if you have a heavy phone, like an Ultra. First, the phone needs to be upside down or Fit will think you're on a bike ride. Second, the arms will splay outward, so if you can find a piece of thin cardboard (think soda pop 12 pack box) under the arms where they attach to the base, you're set! I like it so much I ordered a second one for work. ALSO... if you decide to use a Poffin at night and come back in the morning, don't do it. For some reason if you don't switch pokemon after midnight, the steps won't count. I haven't been able to figure out why, but the only fix is to swap out pokemon after midnight, then switch back to the one you want to walk with.

Works, though the design could be better.
I bought this because it says it works with 2 phones. It did. for a while. Over time my girlfriends phone stopped registering steps as quickly as mine (s20, where I have a 20 note). We found if hers is put in upside down it worked better, but not always. Now we have to run them separately. After a year, the stick connector for the wired power is no longer working. I don't understand why that connection was chosen, a micro usb or type c connector would make so much more sense. As such I am now stuck using 4 AA batteries until i get annoyed and modify it for use with a standard usb cable. I have the same issues with the bearings not wanting to stay in the arms causing dragging or falling out of the cradle. This gets worse with time due to wear from removing and replacing the swing in the cradle. This can be helped by hot gluing thick paperclips in the channels on the outside of the arms to provide more rigidity to keep it lined up better. Thick phone cases prevent you from fitting under the tabs, but it removing the tabs or setting the phone on top of them will allow it to work. All in all, it works for the price, but could definitely be better built.

Works great, but parts pop off during normal handling
Worked better than another one I tried, but the silver pieces that sit in the cradle pop off constantly. If it gets knocked off the table by kids, pets, or clumsy adults good luck finding them if they don't happen to get stuck to the magnet. I've lost both of them now and using makeshift replacements.

Perfectly silent and stable with one or two phones. Works great for my Pixel 9 XL. Pixel 3 seems to register about half the distance, so success may vary according to your phone. Mewtwo candies be mine !!
