Perfect for our needs. We can have the bi fold doors open and keep the dog out of the garden. Would definitely keep smaller children contained too.Has a lock, which is useful.Easy to put up. You do need a bit of patience on the hook end so that you don't get a sag in the middle. A two person job, but still easy.The bottom attachment to the wall is height adjustable. So it fits over skirting (ours are relatively wide skirts too)Really like it. It's good quality, and quite a bit less expensive than others on Amazon!

Our 9month old has recently started crawling and we wanted to block access to the kitchen. As our house is fairly open plan this needed a 2m wide barrier! This retractable barrier is brilliant and perfectly serves our needs. It arrived quickly, as expected from Amazon, and only took me about 15minutes to install. I love the sliding bracket to provide clearance over the skirting as we have had issues with stair gates not fitting well. The plastic mesh is also easy to wipe clean. Once pulled across and locked in place, it feels sturdy enough. I can't speak to whether it works well with dogs (as per it's advertised purpose!) and time will tell if this will continues to work as the little-un gets older but it is excellent at the moment. Would definitely recommend this product.

Far too loose and flimsy and child or dog can easily get under or hang over the top pulling it down, our spaniel jumped over within 2 minutes. Might work for crawling babies and the product arrived correctly and easy to install just isn’t any good for what we wanted it for

This is perfect to fit the full width of our lounge to keep the dog in the room and away from the open plan kitchen.Also ideal for keeping my friends toddler safe in a room away from harms reach when she visits.I love the ideal it retracts when not in use, so no need to pack up and try and store away large panels like my previous guard. Easy to fit , good quality strong safe material that is quick to open and close.Well recommend this and the price is very reasonable considering the extra length.

Expands across gap well, easily fitted; bought to keep spaniels in one room but they can easily negotiate this

Great product !!! We have an opening of 2.8 metres so this is perfect for us !!!Need to keep the dogs off of the sofas when not about and barking at the window !!! And knocking things off of the window sill !!Really clear instructions with good strong fixings ( which are needed as the tension is very strong )I wished I'd bought this ages ago nowWould highly recommend !! 👍

This gate is not ideal as a baby gate it's to slack we have put it all together correctly to. It's absolute waste of money. Wouldn't even leave 1 star tbh

Used to keep the dogs out of the kitchen while cooking! Strong fixings and really does a great job.
