This is a genuine Duracell product and works perfectly. There are cheaper alternatives but what's the quality like? OK so there a small chance these all come from the same factory in China but having well-known branding gives me peace of mind. Charged quickly and works a treat! I bought this for my Nikon P300, so I can keep a fully charged spare in the camera case . I chose a Duracell replacement battery on the recommendation of another P300 review, as I was concerned that some of the Nikon EN-EL12 batteries reviewed appeared to be copies. The good reviews didn't specify the supplier, so in the end I went for this one. It didn't come with a little plastic terminal cover though, but the one with the original battery fits, so I use that one. At the time of purchase there were two different Duracell batteries available, one with a one year warranty and one with a 3 year warranty which was a bit more expensive. In the end I chose the 3 year warranty. So far it is performing well - no complaints. If I subsequently find to the contrary - I'll update this review.

Cheaper than an original and so far performs just as well but its a recent purchase and time will tell.

It works well as replacement battery for Coolpix S9500 even though it is not listed as a compatible camera. Charges in 3 hours.

Bought this Duracell replacement battery for my Nikon Coolpix S8000 compact camera, as the original one died on me, this Duracell one is well made holds its charge very well and is cheaper to buy than the nikon original battery. And also I was having difficulty even finding a original Nikon battery to buy, so I bought this Duracell and I am glad I did, highly. Recommended buy with confidence Paul Breakell

This EN-EL12 Duracell battery is slightly larger than the genuine battery and also another recent Duracell EN-EL12. I is OK but beware it just fits in the camera and the camera hah to be shaken to gt it removed. Not the fault of the supplier.

Fits my Nikon s9000 very well, clicks into place nicely, seems to be lasting longer than the batteries that came with the camera too, so will probably just buy these in future as they are much cheaper than the Nikon branded ones but seem to be lasting way better! Recommended product for anyone with the same camera as mine definitely.

It worked! Our daughter was taking a summer course at Oxford and her camera battery picked that inauspicious time to lose its stuff. This replacement was economical (relative to the OEM battery) and it took and held a charge very well. It continues to do so, even back here in the States. Kudos also to Amazon for the quick delivery to the pickup location. It was very close to her dormitory and she was able to "pop over" to pick it up one night after dinner.

Mit der gleichzeitig bestellten Ladestation "PATONA 3in1 Ladegerät für EN-EL12" war das Aufladen kein Problem. Der Akku funktioniert soweit, viel habe ich ihn noch nicht getestet, weil er nur als Ersatz gelten soll. Der Artikel war original verpackt und neu wie beschrieben. Alles okay

La original aún funciona muy bien, pero unas que compré compatibles duran muy poco. Leí buenas opiniones y la adquirí, para una Nikon S6000 que tenía guardada. He vuelto a la cámara sin teléfono, lo que me da una libertad que me encanta. Me ha durado sin problemas todo un día de viaje, y por la noche la he puesto a cargar para ir más tranquila al día siguiente. La recomiendo al 100%.

A bought this for an older Nikon camera. It works well and provides many hours of power.
