I purchased this product because I hate using bulky pots just to boil pasta. This made the perfect pasta the first time around. Easy to follow instructions and clean up which are always a plus. It performed well in the microwave. And is dishwasher safe. I work long hours and pasta dishes are easy to make. This makes this product for those who want to create dishes in 14 to 16 minutes. In conclusion, I highly recommend this product!!!!

I'm rating this highly because it does it's intended job, I think I was just confused about it's purpose so that's on me! If you don't have a stove, or have a child you don't trust using the stove quite yet, this is great. It's takes just as long if not longer than actually cooking noodles on the stove (and I have a stove already) but it does serve it's purpose in cooking the noodles.... Cute, efficient design, easy to use!

The instructions that come with this say NOT to cover the pasta with water. Fortunately I had seen this used and you must cover the pasta with water otherwise the pasta just sticks together in a clump. The microwave is heating the water and the water is cooking the pasta just like on the stove. The lid works well to drain the water and there was no stain in the container after mixing in marinara sauce and it washed up easily. You can cook other things in it too…like vegetables or potatoes. I find this product helpful.

Too big for my microwave, don’t think I’ll return it because I’ve been needing an excuse to buy a bigger microwave, will update in future

Draining Sprout does not hold well for Rice Vermicelli. The noodles are finer than spaghetti causing noodles run out

If you just want a serving or two of pasta, without heating a pot and using a strainer, this is the way to go. Spaghetti just barely fits at an angle... My wife suggested breaking it in half, but that's not an option for my preferences... It fits, but barely, lol...

It was too big it didn’t fit in my microwave.

This pasta container cooker worked so so - I ended up overcooking my macaroni in it and my macaroni stuck together. The instructions sheet was clear but their microwave water/time conversion sheet was only applicable to 900W microwaves, so I had to tinker around with the numbers for my 800W microwave. I would 100% recommend washing the container before using and also checking for plastic defects, as I found quite a few plastic pieces sticking out.While it seems pretty easy to use, I don't like needing to microwave a plastic container for 15+ minutes to cook some pasta. The drainer worked well and the safety handles protect from the heat and steam well, but the actual outcome of how my pasta cooked along with the strange conversion chart for the instructions make this item not great for me. I'll have to keep trying with different pastas to see if the result stays the same.
