Excellent tripod
The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent tripod for those on a budget. It has a ball-head mount, and employs lever-style leg locks that are easy to open and close even while wearing gloves – handy on cold days.It is more than robust enough to support an enthusiast-level DSLR / Mobile phone..It also comes with an adjustable column that can be set to 90° to help with creative angles and provide plenty of flexibility. This particular tripod feels like it is designed for those who require a highly portable tripod that doesn't unduly compromise on durability or functionality It also comes in a very handy case for protection during transit. As if all that wasn't enough, it comes with a bubble level and directional markings around the perimeter. From a very enthusiastic-beginners point of view this tripod is excellent value for money, it is easy and quick to set up, it comes with everything you need in a tripod (excludes the smart phone adapter), it feels good quality, it extents to a range of heights and angles and it also has a compass to help you find the perfect spot for the perfect picture….What more could you ask for!Likes:LightweightWell built & premium quality (aluminium)Handle to carry the tripodNon Slip Rubber feet180 till angleQuick release plateTripod has Bottom hookBubble level indicatorCarry bagAt this price this is an excellent tripod for beginners.

You get what you pay for!
Great for what I needed. Thought I'd mention the handle snapped within a few months of having it but luckily it's just the handle. You get what you pay for!

Professional look, excellent value
This tripod impressed me as soon as I opened the box, I've had a few cheap tripods and they are noticeably so when you see them, this one however has a quality look and feel to it. You also get a bag and instructions with it.The tripod is quite heavyweight for a plastic one, all the legs are solid and sturdy. I like that it has balls on the feet meaning it finds a good footing even on an uneven surface. The legs are easy to lock and unlock with a quick clip to each moving part, you can set it to a lot of different heights depending on your needs.I'm really impressed with the head attachment for the camera. It clips off the tripod so you can carefully secure it to the camera first and then clip it back onto the tripod, very secure and steady. There is then different options for moving and rotating the camera once it's on.Altogether I'm pleased with this tripod, it has a professional look and for the money excellent value.

Compact & light but does the job well.
One of the biggest issues with camera tripods is that frequently the lighter and more convenient they are to carry, the less good they are at supporting the camera securely. I'm very pleased with this tripod. It is light, packs down easily into its compact case and the positioning controls work well. In fact it's smooth enough to use for simple video pans without creaks and groans appearing on the sound track as is common with other tripods I've used. While my photo shows it with a little sports camera mounted it copes with a heavy DSLR perfectly happily. A good buy.

Great tripod
Having just bought a new Nikon p900 camera, I decided to treat myself to a better tripod. I didn't want to spend too much I've spent enough already! So I went for a mid range tripod. The Polam seemed to fit the bill. It does and to make this review concise, read the description and list of functions in amazon and believe it. I didn't, took a chance and won the vet. It won't be a gamble for you now.

Great item
Although this item is good value for the price, ive given 3 stars due to the outer case having what looked like mould on it, it cleaned off easily enough, but not what you expect when buying something
