Looks perfect for my 2015 mustang
It was a little tough to push on. But it did fit, it is black paint which matches the 15, the 16 and up are shadow black which may be different. Much cheaper option than the 80 dollar ones on eBay (oem and painted to match)

Another one that didn’t fit.
I’ve been trying to buy this part for my car for almost 3 years now. It’s been 6 of them that didn’t fit, and some not even the same color as my car. That’s ridiculous.
