Loctite Brush On

This Loctite Super Glue Brush On is perfect for fly tying. The brush applicator makes it easy to apply precisely, and it bonds quickly and securely. A simple, reliable tool that every fly tyer should have in their kit.

While not recommended for this use my fingers tend to crack in the cold weather. I use this to brush on and seal the cuts and cracks. Works really well.

When my year old browline frames came apart at the browline, I nearly cried—it was just one lifted edge, but they made the things pretty much unwearable, weird looking aside. At first, I despaired that it was new glasses or nothing—and then I thought—wait what about glue? After an exhaustive search, I decided I needed one with a small brush for precision, water proof with quick high hold, and in my search, comparing reviews for many brands along with cost, I settled on glue. Best. Decision. Ever, I am neither handy nor crafty, just needing to stretch a dollar, and even I was able to order a glasses repair kit for less than ten bucks, a set of tiny crafting clamps for a couple more, and this glue. I spent less than 15 bucks on repair items that I can use many times—and two for various purposes—and it WORKED AND WAS EASY. The key is good, water resistant, quick hold super glue and this fits the bill—the brush was easy to use and there was zero mess. You can see in the photos where I made my repair; just waiting the 24 hours to full cure. I’ll update after on the finished product/durability. Also, as a final note, IF you are using this for ANY type of glasses repair, you’ll need to remove the lenses first—this stuff can melt them.

I used this on multiple surfaces and it is amazing. Even in a pinch on fake nails was amazing (not recommend for use on the body though). The only place it didn't do so well is in areas of high temperature. It did weaken. I used it in some resin projects and it didn't hold and applied stickers to a couple of things that were in areas where it would get hot and those pealed up.

This is the only super glue I buy. Doesn’t dry up because it sits upright and has a great seal. Also, love the brush.

Love the brush applicator. I am using it for cracked fingers from NY cold and wind and it works so much better than the squeeze bottle.

I use this glue primarily to brush onto the ends of my nails after my manicurist has applied gel. My nails are very thin, so she applies 3 coats instead of the usual 2. If I brush this glue on the ends of my nails within several hours, it strengthens my nails way beyond what the gel alone does. I don't have the gel reapplied for 4 weeks instead of the recommended 2. When the glue or the gel does chip, I brush several coats of the glue over the chip, allowing the glue to dry between coats, then use the 4-surface emery board to level and shine. You can't see where I've mended the chip. What I REALLY DON'T LIKE is the quality of the black brush. The bristles get all spread out. They stick out and stay that way. I think this is because the brush is a little too fat for the bottle neck so it's really hard to put it straight down into the bottle without catching bristles on the edge and inside of the bottle neck Also the glue collects in the bottle neck because the brush touches it with glue. There it dries, further narrowing the opening. There is another brand of glue with a far superior white brush with much thicker, stronger and longer bristles that are easily inserted into the bottle without touching the edge or the inside of the bottle neck. Unfortunately, the glue is inferior, doesn't leave as smooth a surface and doesn't shine as much when sanded down. I continue to use the superior Loctite Super-glue even though the far inferior brush really annoys me every time I use it.

Goodbye Gorilla Glue, it was nice knowing you (NOT!!) This stuff lasts a long time and doesn’t get clogged or glued up so you really get your money’s worth.

Great glue the brush is so convenient as I normally get covered myself and glue my fingers together but be not with the brush, also great for failed nails
