I’ve been using the SAMSUNG genuine refrigerator water filter, and it has worked well so far. Installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly without any leaks or issues. The 2-pack I received was in a brown box and the printing on the filters is gray, not blue. There were no magnetic strips for authentication, just QR codes. I went to the Samsung website to check out the filters there and discovered that they show a picture of one with blue printing and one with only gray printing. Bottom line, the gray ones in the brown box are genuine Samsung replacement filters. The blue printed ones are also genuine Samsung replacement filters. Installing the filter wasn't difficult but it was my first time replacing the filter and it did take me a couple of tries to get it placed correctly and locked in correctly -- probably because I was a bit rushed at that time. Maybe also because I had removed a full filter and was replacing it with an 'empty' and clean filter which was much lighter. The first few pitchers I filled were 'noisy' and had air bubbles in them. After doing that several times as recommended, there is no more noise or air bubbles and it seems to be working well so far. The Genuine Samsung Replacement filters are a bit pricier than the off-brand ones available. I got mine on a limited time deal, however, so didn't spend much more than for an off-brand. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase and satisfied that the filters I received are Genuine Samsung filters.

Perfect replacement for my Samsung fridge filter. The left is my factory one and the right is this product. I don’t see any difference and the genuine sticker works. No leaks after purging the system. It is a little expensive but overall an excellent product!
