When I first saw this blow dryer on Amazon, I thought it was a bit expensive for a small pet blow dryer. We already have a large high-velocity pet dryer for grooming our Yorkies, but there are a few limitations with that much power - especially when you get around the ears and face. High velocity air around their ears is very uncomfortable to them, and the powerful high velocity dryer is a bit on the noisy side. We went shopping on Amazon, looking for a QUIET but powerful blow dryer to use around their face and ears and for spot drying when you have to wash a small portion of their coat. This is the blow dryer for exactly that. It is quiet, small and easy to hold and use, and the attachments are incredible - versatile for so many different types of drying. The slicker brush attachment allows us to get out the small fur snags and dry the area at the same time - the multi-port dryer spreads out the airflow around the face and ears. It is efficient with just the right amount of airflow and heat and dries the areas very quickly. Very good value for the amount of drying tasks this little dryer can perform. We just love this blow dryer and highly recommend.

I’m a student dog groomer and this is a great dryer for beginners. I thought it would take a lot longer than the industrial dryer my trainer has but it doesn’t actually take that much more time, maybe 10 more minutes. For example, it takes me 40 minutes to dry a medium sized Australian Shepard with this hand dryer, and about an hour for a standard poodle. I love how light and portable it is. It is definitely loud but I didn’t expect it be to be quiet, if someone ever invents a truly quiet dog-grooming dryer they’ll make millions. However, I really like that this has low, medium and high settings in terms of noise. You don’t often see a medium setting and it definitely gets quieter as you go lower so if a dog is very sensitive to the noise you can use the medium or low settings, and that is very helpful for the dog. I also like that you can have the option of no heat, I only really use it with no heat or the lowest level of heat for safety and it works well. Overall it is even better than I expected it be when I ordered it. I love it, and while I want to get a proper industrial dryer at some point in my career, this is fantastic for what it is and does an amazing job for the cost.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This dryer is way, way better than human blow dryers! I got it to dry my dog after her bath. While I don’t think it’s super loud my dog was scared of it at first. With some easing in she now does fine with it and it gets her dry in no time. I have also used it to dry by hair straight out of a shower and it works well and quickly! It has multiple function buttons and I enjoy the ease of putting it on the heat setting knowing it will do a little heat and then cool so it is not over heating whatever it is drying. My dog does not find it uncomfortable while on the heat setting.

This dryer is kind of amazing. It leaves my 11 lb maltipoo super fluffy almost like from the groomers. The drying time is a little longer than advertised, took about 30 mins to fully dry and fluff her up. Overall it is an upgrade from using human hair dryer. It is kind of loud but NOT TOO loud. With the ear protectors, my dog wasn’t scared like she was with the human hair dryer. It is also not too hot. The attachment brush makes it easy to brush and dry at the same time. The dryer is kind of weird to hold. I also tried it on my own hair and works just fine. I only used it twice so far. Hopefully it’s a good equipment build to last.

I worked as a dog groomer for 10 years and I would say this is definitely worth the money and I would recommend to anyone who does their own grooming at home. I have bought a few hand held grooming dryers and had to return them due to them being not very efficient. Short of buying a larger dryer that is used in an actual grooming salon ( which most people don’t have the room or don’t want to spend that kind of money. Myself being one of those people) this dryer is awesome. I find this so much easier to manage than using my hair dryer and I love the attachments that come with it and after towel drying first ( which everyone should be doing) it only took about 10 minutes to have my dog dry. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I am a professional dog groomer, and this was my first dryer when I was first starting my business. I eventually moved on to a different one with more power, but this definitely was great, and if I didn’t need to switch dryers I would’ve stuck with this one! I loved how easy this was to use, and loved the different attachments! I also like the different temperature and power settings! This would be a great dryer for a dog owner to use at home, but for dogs that have straight and thin hair. Not suited for curly hair or double coated dogs - due to extended dry time.

it defiantly does the job to dry the animals but is super loud so my kitties were very scared i did like the different attachments for the different things for the cats

I ordered the Portable Handheld dog hairdryer as a last resort. Every time I bathed my pup, things went fine until the point when I had to dry her hair. I had been using my own handheld hairdryer. She used to cry and constantly try to pull away, and it was worst when I had to dry her head and face. I didn’t think I could have tried to bathe and dry her myself even one more time. Not anymore! I used the iFlurffy portable dryer the day after I received it. It is much quieter than my human blow dryer, and even better is the fact that I can put on one of several handy attachments. I liked the one that allowed me to direct the air from the dryer at the particular section of Bridget that I was drying. She was so much calmer and stayed still through the duration. This was a terrific buy for the price; I can’t imagine finding another dryer that performs as well as this one does. Doesn’t she look beautiful?
