The product arrived very quickly and I thank amazon for this. However, after two weeks of use the magnet came out of its socket. Seeing as the case relies on the magnet to close properly, I was forced to adapt and managed to secure it back in place with tape. After a single month of using this product, the blue decorative plastic came off. I still use the case, as this model is very hard to find, but am disappointed by the subpar quality.

This fits my N514 Kobo Aura reader (first version of the Aura, launched in 2013) very well. Seems well made, the magnet is strong enough and looks durable. Great Value!

snug fit, will protect your KOBO well

3 months after buying it, the borders are broken and the magnets are gone.

The magnet doesn't hold well in its place and the bezels at the start slide button obsctruct the fingers.

Does the job it's made for

This is a good slimline case that protects the Kobo Aura HD well, but isn’t obtrusive in use (unlike some cases which impinge on the edge of the screen making it harder to call menus, flick pages, etc). It’s only flaw is the magnet which quickly became dislodged from its housing. This is probably because of the great strength and poor fixing. I applied some glue and put it in place; problem solved.Otherwise I can highly recommend the case as a good compromise between strength, size, protection, and utility.
