Works better than the old one.
super easy to replace, didnt take me 20 minutes. Be sure and keep your old rope so you can measure the new one and cut it to fit.

Easy to replace - Nice quality!
I have a WERNER extension ladder that has served me well around the house for 20 plus years. The pully broke at the top of the ladder, and I couldn't easily use the extension feature, so I started looking for a replacement pully. As the rope on my ladder was also 20 plus years old, I decided to get the combination pulley and rope replacement. It took 20 minutes to remove and replace the bracket, pully and rope and make my WERNER ladder 100% useful again!!! I did add a 2nd nut to the bolt as a locking feature as the one supplied is not "locking".

No Locking Nut Included
decent quality kit , but locking nut for pulley attachment to rung bracket was substituted for regular, none-locking nut. Have to purchase locking nut separately.
